อุปกรณ์ที่เราน่าจะได้เห็นกันเยอะในงาน CES 2014 สัปดาห์หน้าคือ อุปกรณ์ลูกผสมโน้ตบุ๊ก-แท็บเล็ต ที่ใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการคู่ Windows/Android ในตัวเดียวกัน (ตัวอย่าง: รีวิว ASUS Transformer Book Trio)

เว็บไซต์ The Verge อ้างข้อมูลจากแหล่งข่าววงในว่าเจ้าของไอเดีย Dual OS จริงๆ แล้วไม่ใช่ใครอื่นแต่เป็น "อินเทล" ที่กำลังประสบปัญหายอดขายพีซีแบบดั้งเดิมหดตัว โดยแนวคิดของอินเทลคือการนำ Android มารันบน Windows ด้วยเทคนิคด้าน virtualization และไม่จำเป็นต้องบูตทีละตัว (ซัมซุงเคยใช้กับ ATIV Q แต่ไม่ประสบความสำเร็จนัก)

อย่างไรก็ตาม แหล่งข่าวรายเดิมระบุว่าทั้งไมโครซอฟท์และกูเกิลไม่ชอบแนวคิดนี้ ซึ่งนักวิเคราะห์จากบริษัท Moor Insights and Strategy ก็ให้ความเห็นกับ The Verge ว่าเราจะได้เห็นทั้งไมโครซอฟท์และกูเกิลพยายามกีดกันไม่ให้อุปกรณ์ลักษณะนี้เกิดขึ้นได้

ผมนึกถึงฟีเจอร์ Quickplay สมัยก่อนของ HP Pavilion Notebook (ยุค Win XP) ที่เป็น Windows PE ขนาดเล็กอีก Partition เอาไว้สำหรับดูหนังบน Notebook โดยไม่ต้อง Boot เข้า Windows

ซึ่ง Integrate Android ลงไปก็น่าจะสามารถทำแบบนั้นได้ เอาไว้เป็น Lightweight OS สำหรับใช้งานเบาๆ โดยไม่ต้อง Boot เข้า Windows แต่อย่างว่า ธุรกิจก็คือธุรกิจ

และอีกอย่าง สมัยนี้ดูหนังคงไม่ต้องแบก Notebook ไว้บนตักแล้ว พก Tablet หรือ Smartphone ตัวเดียวก็พอ

ปล. แต่ฟีเจอร์ Quickplay นี้ผมลบ Partition มันทิ้งตั้งแต่วันแรกที่ซื้อ Notebook มา (เปลืองพื้นที่)

จะโบ้ยให้ Windows บนเว็บ Geek นี่ท่านพลาดแล้วครับ

มายืนยันอีกเสียง ผมวิน7แท้โน๊ตบุค ใช้งานทั้งวัน นี่ก็ 2 ปีละ

พวกที่ใช้ win7 จอฟ้า ก็ส่วนใหญ่เป็น win7 ดัดแปลง พวก kkd อ่ะตัวดี

ครั้งสุดท้ายที่เจอจอฟ้าจำไม่ได้แล้วว่าเมื่อไหร่...เพราะมันนานมาก....
