จ่ายเงินทันใจ Chrome กรอกเลขบัตรเครดิตให้อัตโนมัติ แม้ไม่เคยใช้บัตรบนเครื่องนั้นมาก่อน

Chrome

Chrome ประกาศฟีเจอร์ใหม่ที่เชื่อมโยงกับบริการจ่ายเงิน Google Pay ของกูเกิลเอง ให้เราสามารถกดจ่ายเงินได้เพียงแค่กรอกเลข CVC หลังบัตรเครดิตเท่านั้น

ฟีเจอร์นี้ต่างไปจากฟีเจอร์จำเลขบัตรเครดิตที่ Chrome มีอยู่แล้ว ซึ่งต้องเปิดใช้งาน Chrome Sync ก่อน โดยฟีเจอร์ใหม่ทำงานได้ทันที ขอเพียงแค่เราล็อกอินบัญชี Google Account กับ Chrome เท่านั้น (โดยไม่ต้องเปิดซิงก์)

เมื่อเจอหน้าจ่ายเงินที่รองรับ Google Pay หน้าเว็บกรอกฟอร์มจะมีปุ่มแสดงข้อมูลบัตรเครดิตที่เราเซฟไว้ในบัญชี Google Account ขึ้นมา ถ้ากดแล้ว Chrome จะกรอกข้อมูลทุกอย่างให้ทันที เรามีหน้าที่กรอกเลข CVC เพื่อยืนยันการจ่ายเงินเท่านั้น

ผู้ใช้ที่เป็นห่วงเรื่องความปลอดภัย ยังสามารถเลือกไม่ให้เก็บเลขบัตรเครดิตลงในบัญชี Google Account บนคลาวด์ และเลือกให้เก็บเฉพาะใน Chrome ของเครื่องที่ใช้งานอยู่เท่านั้น (local device)

การเก็บข้อมูลบัตรบนเครื่องนี้ปลอดภัยใช่ไหมครับ

ปลอดภัยในที่นี้คือถ้าถูกโดนดึงข้อมูลระยะไกลไม่ว่าจะวิธีใดก็ตาม ข้อมูลตรงนี่ที่เก็บไว้แค่ในเครื่องจะถูกเข้ารหัสไว้ใช่ไหมครับ

ตอนนี้ไม่ได้เก็บข้อมูลไว้ แต่อยากเก็บเพราะขี้เกียจกรอกข้อมูลบัตรหลายๆรอบครับ

ข้อมูลบัตรเครดิตไม่แน่ใจ แต่username&passwordแต่ละเวปผมลองเข้าไปดูรายละเอียดสามารถดูได้ทุกเวปเลยว่าusername&passwordในการเข้าเวปนั้น

ตามนั้นครับ ถ้า Chrome นั่งหน้าเครื่องได้ก็ดูได้หมด
ส่วนถ้าเป็น Edge Chromium จะบังคับให้ใช้ Windows Hello ก่อน (PIN, สแกนนิ้ว, สแกนหน้า อะไรแบบนั้น)

Google Chrome ถ้าจะดู Password ไว้ (chrome://settings/passwords) ก็ต้องสแกนลายนิ้วมือก่อนนะครับ (PC ผมเปิดใช้ Windows Hello) ซึ่งมันเป็นแบบนี้มานานแล้ว ก่อนหน้าที่ผมจะใช้ Windows Hello ก็จะให้กรอกรหัสของ User นั้นๆ กรณีที่ผมใช้ MS Account ล็อกอิน PC เครื่องนี้ ก็ต้องกรอกรหัสผ่านของ MS Account ไม่แน่ชัดว่าเปลี่ยนตอนไหน แต่ก็มีช่วงที่สามารถดู Password โดยไม่ต้องกรอกอะไรเลยเช่นกัน (นานแล้ว)

ถ้าผมเข้าใจไปคนละอย่างกับ @hisoft ก็ต้องขออภัยด้วยครับ

+1 ครับ บน macOS ก็ต้องใส่รหัสก่อนเช่นกัน ถ้าเครื่องที่มี Touch ID ก็คงแสกนลายนิ้วแทนได้

น่าจะอย่างเดียวกันครับ พอดีผมไม่ได้ใช้ Chrome จำรหัสมานานมากแล้ว (จริงๆ คือไม่เคยให้ Chrome จำ ที่เคยนั่นไปช่วยเครื่องคนอื่น ?)

แต่จริงๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Chrome หรือ Edge ก็ลัดขั้นตอนได้ครับเพราะในหน้ากรอกรหัสอัตโนมัติมันกรอกให้เลยไม่ต้องผ่าน Windows Hello (ใช่มั้ยนะครับ?) ซึ่งพอมันกรอก เราก็เปิด dev tool คลิกเลือกช่องรหัส เอา type="password" ออกมันก็แสดงรหัสอยู่ดี แต่อันตรายน้อยกว่าเพราะต้องเจาะจงทำทีละเว็บและเสียเวลา
