ควรจะจบแต่ไม่จบ! แอพ YouTube บน Windows Phone เกิดปัญหา, คาดกูเกิลเปลี่ยนระบบเบื้องหลัง

หลายคนคิดว่ามหากาพย์ระหว่างไมโครซอฟท์กับกูเกิลในเรื่องแอพ YouTube สำหรับ Windows Phone สิ้นสุดลงแล้วหลังไมโครซอฟท์ปล่อยแอพที่แก้ไขแล้ว ทว่ามันยังไม่จบ เพราะว่ามีผู้ใช้แทบทุกรายเจอปัญหาเปิดแอพ YouTube แล้วใช้งานไม่ได้

เว็บไซต์ Windows Phone Central สันนิษฐานไว้ 2 ประการคือ ไมโครซอฟท์ลืมเปลี่ยนตัว API key ของ YouTube หรือไม่กูเกิลถอน API key ที่ไมโครซอฟท์ขอไว้ แต่ภายหลังก็มีรายงานว่า แอพดูวิดีโอของ YouTube อีกตัวอย่าง MyTube ก็เกิดปัญหานี้เช่นกันเมื่อเล่นวิดีโอหลายตัว ทำให้ทาง Windows Phone Central คาดว่ากูเกิลแอบเปลี่ยนระบบเบื้องหลังของตัว API บางส่วน

ทั้งนี้ทางเว็บไซต์ Windows Phone Central ได้สอบถามกับทางไมโครซอฟท์เกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้แล้ว แต่ยังไม่ได้รับคำตอบเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้ครับ

เว็บไซต์ Windows Phone Central สันนิษฐานไว้ 2 ประการคือ ไมโครซอฟท์ลืมเปลี่ยน API ของ YouTube หรือไม่กูเกิลถอนสิทธิ์ของระบบ API ที่ไมโครซอฟท์ขอไว้

ไม่ใช่ API นะครับ แต่เป็นคีย์เพื่อเข้าใช้ API

The current problem with the YouTube app is that it appears to be using a revoked developer key, which is invalidating the app:

According to Rafael Rivera (@withinrafael) who discerned the above information and assisted Windows Phone Central, that can only occur in two situations:

  1. Microsoft forgot to update the key with the new app release
  2. Google revoked it

ทำให้ทาง Windows Phone Central คาดว่ากูเกิลได้เปลี่ยนระบบ API key อย่างแน่นอน

ผมว่า Windows Phone Central ไม่ได้จงใจจะบอกว่า "ระบบ API key" เปลี่ยนนะครับ แค่บอกว่า "some backend changes"

Alternatively, if Google revoked it, it simply means the companies have not come to an agreement and Google is ratcheting up the response to a very aggressive level or that Google has made some backend changes, affecting numerous YouTube apps.

Update: It appears that the third party app MyTube is also having issues playing videos (after multiple plays), meaning this is looking like a Google change.

อันนี้ยังไม่ได้รับการยืนยันจากกูเกิล การใช้คำว่า อาจจะ คงไม่เสียหายอะไร

looking like ไม่ได้หมายความว่ากูเกิลประกาศเปลี่ยนโต้ง ๆ แต่เหมือนกับว่ากูเกิลแอบเปลี่ยนแบบไม่บอกใครมากกว่าครับ

ถ้าไม่อยากให้มีการแก้ไขคำผิดต้องรีบชิงเขียนข่าวที่ไม่มีคำผิดมาก่อนครับ :-)

(ซึ่งพูดตรง ๆ ผมเขียนข่าวที่นี่มาก็เยอะอยู่ ก็ยังไม่ประสบความสำเร็จเสียที 555 ก็เลยแหง่กอยู่ที่ C เนี่ยแหละ)

WPCentral ตั้งข้อสงสัยว่าทาง official Windows Phone Blog ไม่ได้ออกประกาศว่าแอพ YouTube กลับมาแล้ว เลยเป็นไปได้ว่าจริงๆ แล้ว MS กับ Google ยังตกลงกันไม่เสร็จ #อืม

เป็นไปได้ไหมว่าไอ้เจ้าพวก 3rd party app ดันไปใช้คีย์ตัวเดียวกับของ MS (คงกะว่จะได้ไม่โดนแบน) แต่พอโดนแบนปุ๊บตัวของ MS ก็โดนหางเลขไปด้วย
