Panos Panay ผู้จัดการทั่วไปจากทีมพัฒนา Surface ได้ตั้งกระทู้ "ถามอะไรก็ได้เราจะตอบให้เกือบหมด" (Ask me or my team almost anything) บนเว็บไซต์ชุมชนออนไลน์ reddit และจากกระทู้ถามตอบดังกล่าวเราจึงได้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับเจ้า Surface with Windows RT ดังนี้ครับ

  • รองรับจอยแพด Xbox 360 ผ่านพอร์ต USB สำหรับการเล่นเกม
  • พอร์ต USB จะรู้จักอุปกรณ์เกือบทั้งหมด รวมไปถึงกล้องถ่ายรูปและใช้ชาร์จโทรศัพท์ได้ด้วย
  • เนื่องจากตัวเคสทำด้วย VaporMg จึงทำให้ใส่ NFC ไม่ได้
  • รุ่นความจุ 32 GB จะมีพื้นที่เหลือสำหรับแอพและเกม 20 GB ส่วน SD card มีไว้สำหรับใส่หนัง, ภาพ และเพลงเท่านั้น
  • รองรับ SDXC ถอดเสียบตัวการ์ดได้แบบ on the fly
  • คีย์บอร์ด Touch Cover รับรู้ความแตกต่างระหว่างการวางนิ้วไว้เฉยๆ กับการกดแป้นจริงๆ
  • คีย์บอร์ด Touch Cover, Type Cover สามารถตรวจจับลักษณะการวางเทียบกับตัว Surface ได้ ตัวคีย์บอร์ดจะถูกปิดการใช้งานเมื่อพับปิดหน้าจอหรือพับกลับไปด้านหลัง
  • Microsoft เลือกที่จะไม่ใส่ 3G/4G จากข้อมูลการสำรวจที่บอกว่าผู้ใช้แท็บเล็ตมักจะไม่เลือกใช้ Mobile Broadband
  • Microsoft เลือกปรับปรุงหน้าจอด้วยวิธีอื่นๆ แทนที่จะเพิ่ม resolution เช่นการใช้เทคโนโลยี ClearType เพื่อทำการเกลี่ยพิกเซล, ใช้หน้าจอ 10.6" ที่มีค่าคอนทราสสูงและให้มุมมองที่กว้าง และใช้ชั้นออฟติคอลที่บางที่สุดในท้องตลาดทำให้หน้าจอของ Surface สะท้อนแสงน้อยกว่า iPad มาก เป็นผลให้ได้ค่าคอนทราสที่สูงกว่าเดิมและเห็นรายละเอียดได้ชัดเจนกว่า
  • Microsoft เลือกใช้เพียงแค่ USB 2.0 แทนที่จะเป็น USB 3.0 เนื่องมาจากตัว ARM SoC ในขณะที่ Surface กำลังพัฒนา ยังไม่มีความสามารถในการรองรับ USB 3.0

  • reddit ไม่ใช่ชุมชนด้านไอทีอย่างเดียวนะครับ มีทุกอย่าง
  • เปลี่ยนการ์ด SDXC เข้าใจว่าเปลี่ยนได้โดยไม่ต้องดับเครื่องนะครับ เหมือนกับการใช้บน PC เลยก็ถอดเสียบได้เลย แต่จะไม่สามารถติดตั้งโปรแกรมลงบนการ์ดได้

  • สารภาพว่าผมไปแอบดูข่าวเก่าคุณ mk มาน่ะครับ เอาเป็น "เว็บไซต์ชุมชนออนไลน์" เฉยๆ ก่อนละกัน
  • ผมก็เข้าใจอย่างนั้น แต่นึกคำไทยสวยๆ ไม่ออก

แก้ไม่ทัน ตอนแรกกะจะพิมพ์ว่าที่บอกนี่ บางส่วนถือเป็นข้อเสีย ซึ่งคิดว่าคงจะเป็นข้อด้อยทั้งหมดแล้ว (มั้ง)

Pro ตามข่าวเก่า มีรุ่น 64/128 ครับ แต่ส่วนแล้วคิดว่า Surface คงไม่เหมาะกับการเอามา เล่นจริงจัง ใช้จริงจังเท่าไรฮะ เรียกว่าทดแทนได้บ้างดีกว่าครับ

แทบเลตผมก็เท่านี้อ่ะ

SSD 32GB ลง Windows เสร็จเหลือแค่ 21GB

แต่ว่าเป็น Windows 8 Pro นะครับไม่ใช่ Windows RT

แต่รู้สึกว่ายังไงตอนลง Windows 7 มันก็กินที่ไปเยอะกว่านี้

เสียบจอยได้...ไม่เอาอ่ะ ขอเป็น Wireless ได้มั้ย?

ผมภาวนาให้เกมใน XBLM สามารถเล่นได้บน Surface หรือ Windows 8 Tablet ตัวอื่นๆละกัน ถ้าทำได้ ก็จะมีเหตุผลดีๆในการซื้อ Surface ขึ้ันมาอีกอย่าง

ไม่มี 3G นี่ความน่านใจสำหรับผมลดลง 50% เลยทีเดียว -_-

จะพกไปโดยเปิด Hotspot จากมือถือเพื่อแชร์เนทมันก็ไม่ใช่เรื่องที่เหมาะเท่าไร

ต้องพก Mi-Fi อีกตัวเหรอเนี่ย

ถ้า Always on นี่ไม่ใช่ทางเลือกที่เหมาะแน่ๆ แบทหมดภายในครึ่งวัน
