Nuance เปิดตัว Dragon Dictation และ Search, รองรับภาษาไทยแล้ว!

หลายคนคงคุ้นชื่อของ Nuance (อ่านว่านูออนซ์) จากคีย์บอร์ด Swype และแอพสั่งงานด้วยเสียง หรือช่วยพิมพ์ข้อความด้วยเสียงอย่าง Dragon Dictation และ Dragon Search ที่ปัจจุบันรองรับภาษาทั่วโลก รวมถึงภาษาท้องถิ่นไปแล้วมากถึง 52 ภาษา การเปิดตัวในเมืองไทยครั้งนี้ เพื่อแนะนำแอพพลิเคชันของ Nuance อย่าง Dragon Dictation และ Dragon Search ที่รองรับภาษาไทยเป็นที่เรียบร้อยเป็นลำดับที่ 39 จากประเทศที่เปิดตัวทั้งหมด

พูดถึงรายละเอียดของแอพทั้งสองตัว Dragon Dictation คือแอพที่สามารถจดจำเสียงของผู้ใช้ แล้วแปลงเป็นข้อความ เพื่อใช้ส่งข้อความ อีเมล รวมถึงโพสต์ขึ้นโซเชียลเน็ตเวิร์คได้

แอพอีกตัวอย่าง Dragon Search ใช้สำหรับค้นหาข้อมูลเว็บไซต์ต่างๆ เช่น Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia และ YouTube ด้วยเสียงภาษาไทย การค้นหาด้วยเสียงนี้ Nuance เคลมว่าเร็วกว่าการพิมพ์ถึง 5 เท่า และสามารถทำได้โดยที่ไม่ต้องจดจ่ออยู่กับอุปกรณ์อีกด้วย

จากการลองเล่นเดโมในงาน ตัวแอพแปลงเสียงเป็นตัวอักษรไทยได้เร็วพอสมควร พูดเสียงเบา หรือเร็วหน่อยก็สามารถใช้งานได้ ใช้งานได้ดีขึ้นกับไมโครโฟนแยก ตัวแปรที่มีผลกับความเร็วในการแปลงคือความเร็วเน็ต เสียงรบกวนภายนอก และจำนวนครั้งที่ใช้งานแอพ โดยตัวแอพจดจำสำเนียงเราได้ดีขึ้นเรื่อยๆ

ทั้งสองแอพพลิเคชันเปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดฟรีผ่าน iTunes Store ส่วน Dragon Dictation (และ Go!) รุ่น Android มีแผนจะทำให้รองรับภาษาอื่นในอนาคต (ตอนนี้ยังรองรับแค่ภาษาอังกฤษ)

แต่แอบดีใจวันก่อนมีข่าว Atrix 4G โดนลอยแพ วันนี้เข้าไปใน XDA มีรอมศูนย์ ICS ของ Atrix หลุดมาให้ใช้แล้ว

อ่านถึงบรรทัดนี้ ดีใจว่าจะได้ใช้สั่งงานด้วยเสียงกับเขาบ้างแล้ว

รุ่น Android มีแผนจะทำให้รองรับภาษาอื่นในอนาคต (ตอนนี้ยังรองรับแค่ภาษาอังกฤษ)

ลองพูดคำให้หลากหลายดูครับแล้วจะรู้ว่ามันไม่ได้ดีขนาดนั้น เหมือนคำศัพท์มันมีไม่เยอะ มีแต่คำสำคัญๆ ลองพูดคำในชีวิตประจำวันกับพูดแบบคอมพิวเตอร์ออกเสียงก็ได้ผลต่างกันครับ
