ถูกต้องครับ อยากได้อะไรที่ถูกใจ ก็ต้องทำเอง แต่พลาดไปนิดที่มันยังไม่พร้อม แถมแย่กว่าของเดิมอีก แผนที่ถือว่าเป็น feature หลักๆ ของ smart phone ในตอนนี้เลย

อีกสามปี ห้าปี ค่อยว่ากัน แต่ตอนนั้น google คงไม่นิ่งเฉยละ ตอนนี้ก็เริ่มออกทะเลกันแล้ว

สิ่งหนึ่งที่ผมบ่น Apple เสมอๆก็คือ การไม่เปิดทางเลือกให้ลูกค้าได้คิด และตัดสินใจเลือกด้วยตัวเอง

If Google won't let u use turn by turn, fine, keep it and make urself a good turn by turn.

It's so non-sense to replace something that's already best in their league with something thing that has another uses, and being much worse in that league.

I don't know if Google will make the App for iPhone. And if they do, I don't know if Apple will be able to accept the App as it surely won't meet their 'policy'. If they accept the App, other big name developers may felt betrayed. Anyway, Apple is slightly facing their hard time.

เหมือนว่าถ้าเป็นผู้พัฒนาภายนอกทั้งหมดไม่ว่าจะบน OS ไหน จะไม่ได้สิทธิ์นี้อยู่แล้วนะครับ ส่วนผู้ใช้ Andriod ก็เนื่องจากมันเป็นแอพของกูเกิลเอง ก็เท่านั้น

คือมันคงไม่ต่างจาก Siri, 3D, Local ที่ใช้ได้เฉพาะใน iOS (และโดยแอปเปิล) เท่านั้น

We'd never know if 'Turn by Turn, Vector UI, Voice Search' is not allowed by Google, or Apple decided not to implement these features themselves. Don't forget that Maps on iOS is Apple implementation and Google is just a content provider, just like Youtube.

Apple started buying mapping-service companies a few years ago, if I remember it correctly. At that time I think Apple would think they should not rely on Google for map data. So they might decide not to extend contract to have data required for those service, and start implement it using in-house developer and data from other sources (eg. Tomtom). But the implementation might not be compatible to Google's data, they may not be able to integrate this into the Maps at that time.

I think it's quite unfair to blame Google for this.
