โซนี่เปิดตัว PlayStation Portal เครื่องเล่นเกมพกพาแบบสตรีมจาก PS5 ที่ก่อนหน้านี้รู้จักกันในชื่อ Project Q อย่างเป็นทางการ พร้อมเปิดราคาที่ 199.99 ดอลลาร์

โซนี่เรียก PlayStation Portal ว่าเป็น "remote player" เล่นเกมจาก PS5 ที่อยู่ในบ้านเดียวกัน สตรีมผ่าน Wi-Fi เท่านั้น เกมต้องประมวลผลจาก PS5 แบบโลคอล ไม่รองรับเกมที่สตรีมจากคลาวด์ PlayStation Plus Premium และไม่รองรับเกมที่เป็น PS VR2

สเปกของ PlayStation Portal คือหน้าจอขนาด 8 นิ้ว LCD ความละเอียด 1080p 60fps, ช่องเสียบหูฟัง 3.5mm, ตัวจอทัชสกรีนสามารถแตะที่มุมจอเพื่อเปิดทัชแพดเสมือน ใช้แทนทัชแพดจริงของจอย DualSense

ตอนนี้ยังไม่ระบุวันวางขาย แต่บอกว่าภายในปี 2023 นี้
