แอปเปิลแบนบัญชี Epic ตามที่แจ้งเตือน เกมอื่นๆ ถูกถอดตาม Fortnite

แอปเปิลแบนบัญชีนักพัฒนาของ Epic Games ตามที่เคยแจ้งเตือนไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ ส่งผลให้เกมอื่นนอกจาก Fortnite เช่น Battle Breakers และ Infinity Blade ถูกถอดจาก App Store ไปด้วย แต่แอปเปิลบังไม่แบนบัญชี Unreal Engine ตามคำสั่งศาลที่คุ้มครองชั่วคราวมาก่อนหน้านี้

แอปเปิลส่งแถลงการณ์ถึงสื่อมวลชนหลังการแบนครั้งนี้ ระบุว่าการที่ Epic ไม่ยอมทำตามแนวทางของ App Store ทั้งที่ทำตามมาตลอดสิบปีไม่เป็นธรรมต่อนักพัฒนารายอื่นๆ ที่ทำตามกฎของแอปเปิล และการต่อสู้เช่นนี้เป็นการเอาผู้เล่นเข้ามารับผลกระทบ

นอกจากผู้เล่น Fortnite บน iOS จะไม่ได้รับอัพเดตใหม่ๆ และไม่สามารถเล่นกับผู้เล่นบนแพลตฟอร์มอื่นๆ แล้ว บรรดาไอเท็มที่ซื้อผ่านบริการ In-App Purchase ก็จะใช้งานไม่ได้อีกด้วย

ตกลงบัญชี dev ของ Fortnite แยกกับบัญชี dev ของ Unreal Engine หรอเนี่ย เห็นตอนแรก Epic ออกมาพูดอย่างกับเป็น id เดียวกันเลย

แสดงว่าเกมอื่นที่ใช้ Unreal Engine ไม่โดนผลกระทบสิเนี่ย

Battle Breakers / Infinity Blade ไม่ใด้ทำรายใด้มากขนาดนั้นครับ

ตอนนี้ apple คงกดดันสุดชีวิต เพราะถ้า Microsoft + Epic เล่นข่าวร่วมกัน อาจจะไม่ดีกับยอดขาย iphone หรือรายใด้ของ ios ในระยะยาว

พูดตามตรงถ้าผมทำเกมส์ดังๆบน pc แล้ว port ไป mobile ผมคงอยาก side load กับ Android มากกว่าจ่าย 30% ให้ store ถ้า app ทะยอยออกจาก ios เยอะๆ walled garden ก็สามารถกลายเป็น jail wall ใด้

มันยังไม่จริง ณ เวลาตอนนี้แต่ในอนาคตมันสามารถเกิดขึ้นได้ เก่งแต่ปากจริงมั๊ยต้องให้เวลาเป็นเครื่องพิสูจน์

ต่อไปจะใช้ apple คงต้องคิดว่ามี ข้อจำกัดไรบ้าง... เช่น wechat หรือ app เกมส์ต่างๆ ในขณะที่ platform อื่นใข้งานร่วมกันได้หมด..

มันก็ไม่ขนาดนั้นหรอกครับ มันเป็นการต่อรองเจรจา (แบบรุนแรง)
อย่าลืมว่า epic เองก็อยากลง ios ไม่งั้นคงไม่ port มาลงตั้งแต่แรก
เกมของ epic คือต้องการใช้พลังมวลชนเข้าว่า (รณรงค์ติด hashtag) กับการฟ้องร้อง
ส่วนเกมของ apple คือ ตัดหนทำเงินของทาง epic
สุดท้ายคือ ใครจะยอมก่อนกัน

ปล. ของ android ก็โดนเอาออกจาก store นะครับ

ขอถามนิดนึงครับ ถ้ายังไม่เคยโหลดเล่น ยังโหลดได้ไหมครับของ Android หรือเล่นได้แค่เครื่องที่เคยโหลดไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ครับ
