ในวันนี้ (7 พฤศจิกายน 2560) โลโก้ในหน้าแรกของกูเกิลหรือ Doodle ได้เปลี่ยนเป็นตัวคาแรกเตอร์เพื่อฉลองให้กับ ผัดไทย ในฐานะอาหารสตรีทฟู้ดของประเทศไทยซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วโลก

หน้ารายละเอียดของ Doodle อธิบายว่า ผัดไทยได้ถูกคิดขึ้นในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งมีการรณรงค์ให้รับประทานก๋วยเตี๋ยวแทนข้าวที่มีราคาแพง จึงมีการต่อยอดนำเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวไปผัดแล้วใส่เครื่องปรุงต่างๆ ออกมาเป็นเมนูผัดไทยที่คนทั่วโลกรู้จักนับตั้งแต่นั้นมา

Doodle ผัดไทยของวันนี้ กูเกิลได้เผยแพร่ไปในหลายประเทศทั่วโลก รวมทั้งในอเมริกาและยุโรปซึ่งผัดไทยเป็นที่รู้จักดีด้วย

นั่นน่ะสิครับ ถ้าตามไปดูในของ Google จะบอกไว้แบบนั้น
แต่ในข่าวของท่านที่ให้มาด้านบน ตำนาน “ผัดไทย” 71 ปีสู่ครัวโลก ข้างในบอกว่า เพื่อต้องการให้บริโภคข้าวมากขึ้น เพราะข้าวราคาตกต่ำ ตรงนี้ดูจะสอดคล้องกว่า ส่วนในต้นทางภาษาอังกฤษของ Independent ที่ให้ลิ้งค์มาก็ไม่มี

เคยได้ยินเรื่องนี้เหมือนกัน เพราะเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวทำมาจากใช้ข้าวเกรดต่ำหรือข้าวหักหรือปลายข้าว อีกอย่างเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวจะมีส่วนประกอบของน้ำอยู่พอสมควร แม้แต่ตอนนี้ราคาเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวเทียบกับราคาข้าวกิโลต่อกิโล เส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวก็ยังถูกกว่าครับ (นอกจากเส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยวระดับพรีเมี่ยม) ...
