Bloomberg ได้เอกสารภายในของไมโครซอฟท์ ซึ่งมีรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับยุทธศาสตร์มือถือ และการปลดพนักงาน 7,800 ดังนี้

ที่ไมโครซอฟท์บอกว่าจะจัดกลุ่มลูกค้ามือถือเหลือ 3 กลุ่มคือ ธุรกิจ ราคาประหยัด และเรือธง เอกสารของ Bloomberg ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่าไมโครซอฟท์จะออกมือถือแค่ปีละ 1-2 รุ่นในแต่ละกลุ่ม และใช้รอบการอัพเดตปีละครั้งเหมือนบริษัทค่ายอื่นๆ
ไมโครซอฟท์จะยุติแผนธุรกิจกับโอเปอเรเตอร์หรือตัวแทนจำหน่ายในประเทศที่ไม่ประสบความสำเร็จ แต่จะยังทำตลาดสหรัฐต่อไป
ไมโครซอฟท์จะปิดสำนักงานในเมือง Salo ที่ฟินแลนด์ และกลับมาเน้นสำนักงานที่เมือง Espoo กับ Tampere เท่านั้น นอกจากนี้ไมโครซอฟท์จะปิดสำนักงานใน San Diego สหรัฐอเมริกา และลดพนักงานสายมือถือในกรุงปักกิ่งด้วย

Bloomberg ยังเล่าเบื้องหลังการซื้อโนเกียว่าเป็นความตั้งใจของ Steve Ballmer ซีอีโอคนก่อน ซึ่งถูกคัดค้านจากคนในบริษัทหลายกลุ่ม โดยบิล เกตส์ในฐานะประธานบอร์ดก็ปฏิเสธข้อเสนอซื้อครั้งแรก จนทำให้ Ballmer ต้องยื่นคำขาดว่าถ้าไม่ซื้อเขาจะลาออกจากตำแหน่งซีอีโอ ส่วน Satya Nadella ซีอีโอคนปัจจุบันก็เคยมีข่าวว่าไม่เห็นด้วยกับการซื้อกิจการครั้งนี้เช่นกัน

ขอเรือธงแบบจัดเต็ม เทียบสเปกเดี่ยวกันกับ Android แล้วราคาเท่าๆกัน(จริงๆต้องถูกกว่าหน่อยด้วย) ผมก็อยากลองน่ะ ไม่ใช่เล่นตั้งราคาซะสูงลิบ สเปกเดี่ยวกับ Android ราคาแพงกว่า แอฟก็น้อยกว่า ใครจะอยากใช้
