แม้ว่า Galaxy Alpha จะถูกวางตัวเป็นสมาร์ทโฟนสายแฟชั่นที่มาพร้อมกับความหรูหรา แต่เหมือนกับว่า Samsung จะไม่หยุดคิดแค่นั้น เมื่อล่าสุด Samsung สาขาประเทศฝรั่งเศส ประกาศเปิดตัว Galaxy Alpha รุ่นพิเศษ (limited edition) ที่มาพร้อมกับฝาหลังหนังอย่างหรูหรา ออกแบบและทำโดย Free Lance และ Jean-Baptiste Rautureau แบรนด์รองเท้าแฟชั่นของฝรั่งเศส

Galaxy Alpha รุ่นนี้ แทบไม่ต่างจากรุ่นปกติแต่อย่างใด ยกเว้นฝาหลังที่ทำมาจากหนัง (ไม่ระบุว่าหนังแท้หรือเทียม) มีทั้งหมด 4 รูปแบบให้เลือก โดยสีแดงไวน์เบอร์กันดีและสีฟ้าเขียวหัวเป็ด (teal) ออกแบบโดย Free Lance สำหรับสุภาพสตรี และสีน้ำตาลกับดำ ที่ออกแบบโดย Jean-Baptiste Rautureau สำหรับสุภาพบุรุษ

มีเพียงรูปแบบละ 100 เครื่องเท่านั้น (ทั้งหมด 400 เครื่อง) โดยวางจำหน่ายในราคา 649 ยูโร (ประมาณ 26,000 บาท) ซึ่งแพงกว่ารุ่นปกติอยู่ไม่มากนัก (ประมาณ 80 ยูโร หรือ 3,200 บาท) และวางจำหน่ายจริงแล้ววันนี้
