Samsung ร่วมมือกับ Hyundai/Kia เชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์ SmartThings เข้ากับรถยนต์

Samsung ประกาศความร่วมมือกับ Hyundai Motor Group ขยายการทำงานอุปกรณ์ SmartThings ให้รองรับกับรถยนต์และรถไฟฟ้าของ Hyundai Group

ทั้ง 2 บริษัทจะทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อพัฒนาบริการ Home-to-Car และ Car-to-Home รวมถึงบริการจัดการพลังงานภายในบ้านแบบครบวงจร โดยเริ่มจากการเชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์ SmartThings ของซัมซุง เข้ากับรถยนต์จาก Hyundai และ Kia

บริการดังกล่าวจะทำให้ผู้ใช้งานตรวจสอบปริมาณพลังงานของอุปกรณ์ที่เชื่อมต่อในบ้าน รวมถึงข้อมูลพลังงานของรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าและเครื่องชาร์จ ทำให้ปรับเปลี่ยนเวลาที่เหมาะสมสำหรับการชาร์จรถยนต์ได้

นอกจากนี้ Samsung กำลังร่วมมือกับ HARMAN พัฒนาระบบ Ready Upgrade ช่วยให้สามารถอัพเกรดฮาร์ดแวร์และซอฟต์แวร์ของอุปกรณ์ SmartThings ที่มีอยู่แล้วให้ใช้บริการ Car-to-Home ได้

ระบบซอฟทแวร์รถไฟฟ้ามันซับซ้อนปิดกั้นมากเท่าไร อายุการใช้งานรถมันก็สั้นลง ซื้อรถมาใช้แปดปีสิบปีมันจะยังมีอะไหล่เปลี่ยนแทนอยู่ไหม โดยเฉพาะระบบอิเลคทรอนิกทั้งหลายรวมถึงซอฟแวร์ที่ใช้ร่วมกันด้วย
