GMC โชว์รถกระบะไฟฟ้า Hummer EV ใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการ Android Automotive OS

Android Automotive OS เป็นโครงการนำ Android ทั้งตัวไปรันในระบบความบันเทิงของรถยนต์ (ต่างจาก Android Auto ที่ประมวลผลบนมือถือ แล้วส่งภาพขึ้นจอในรถยนต์) ช่วงหลังเราเริ่มเห็นแบรนด์รถยนต์เริ่มใช้งาน Android Automotive กันบ้างแล้ว โดยรถยนต์รุ่นแรกที่ใช้คือ Volvo Polestar 2

ล่าสุดกูเกิลเปิดตัวคลิปการใช้งาน Android Automotive ในรถยนต์กระบะไฟฟ้า GMC Hummer EV ของค่าย GM ช่วยให้เราเห็นภาพมากขึ้นว่า Android Automotive มีประสบการณ์ใช้งานอย่างไร

ในแง่ของ UI คงไม่ต่างจาก Android Auto ในปัจจุบันมากนัก เน้นไปที่ฟีเจอร์อย่างการนำทางหรือการฟังเพลง รองรับการสั่งงานด้วยเสียงผ่าน Google Assistant จุดต่างสำคัญจาก Android Auto คือมันประมวลผลที่ชิปในตัวรถเลย ไม่ต้องเชื่อมต่อมือถือให้ยุ่งยาก และสไตล์การนำเสนอของ UI อาจต่างกันเล็กน้อยตามยี่ห้อรถ จากภาพจะเห็นว่าของ GMC จะใช้โทนแข็งๆ ไฮเทค บึกบึน สมกับภาพลักษณ์ของรถยนต์

นอกจาก Volvo และ GM แล้ว ยังมี Ford ที่ประกาศจับมือเป็นพันธมิตรกับกูเกิลใช้ Android Automotive แต่ต้องรอถึงปี 2023 ถึงจะเห็นผลลัพธ์

เคยคุยกับ ฝรั่ง US บน 4Chan /o/ ประมาณ 1-2 ปีก่อน เค้าบอกว่า Hummer รุ่นไปรบที่อีรัก กองทัพสหรัฐ เอามาปล่อยขายมือ 2 ให้พลเรือนซื้อได้ ไปเจอแบบรถ lot ผลิตนานมากกกก ไมล์ <1000 เป็นไปได้ไง ? เลย เอามาคุยกันว่า กรอไมล์หรือเปล่าเนี่ย ? เลยมีทหารสหรัฐตัวจริง ไปรบอีรักจริง มาเล่าว่า รถแม่ม แบบใช้มากสุดคือ ผลิตเสร็จ จอด...เอาขึ้นเรือรบ...จอด ..เอา ฮ. หิ้วเข้าฐาน ... จอด ... วิ่งล่อระเบิดพลีชีพรอบนึง .. จอด .. ถ้ารอดมาได้ส่วนมาก วิ่งไม่ถึง 100 ไมล์ ก็ต้องจอด Service แต่ถ้าโดนระเบิด ตูม... พัง หรือ ไม่ก็เป็นคันที่อยู่ในฐานเล่นๆ ไม่ออกมาข้างนอก แต่ รุ่นวิ่งในอีรัก มันไม่เคยมีคน prove ว่า เอามาวิ่งได้ยาวๆ จริงๆ จะซื้อก็ระวังด้วย แบบวิ่งไปแลวพังเฉยเลย ก็ตัวใครตัวมัน
