ธนาคาร UBS อนุญาตให้พนักงานเปลี่ยนมาใช้ iPhone แทน BlackBerry

นี่อาจเป็นชัยชนะเล็กๆ ของแอปเปิล เพราะแวดวงการเงินการธนาคาร มีมือถือมาตรฐานที่ชื่อว่า BlackBerry ซึ่งรองรับระบบไอทีขององค์กรขนาดใหญ่ครบครัน

แต่ล่าสุด ธนาคาร UBS เครือการเงินขนาดใหญ่ที่มีพนักงานกว่าหกหมื่นคน ได้ทดสอบระบบ iPhone โดยใช้ซอฟต์แวร์จาก Good Technology เป็นที่เรียบร้อย และอนุมัติให้พนักงานสามารถเปลี่ยนไปใช้ iPhone ได้แล้ว ทางธนาคารคาดว่า 1 ใน 3 ของ BlackBerry จำนวน 18,000 เครื่องสามารถเปลี่ยนเป็น iPhone ได้

Peter Oppenheimer CFO ของแอปเปิลเคยให้สัมภาษณ์ไว้เมื่อต้นปีว่า 70% ของบริษัทขนาดใหญ่ที่ติดอันดับ Fortune 500 ของสหรัฐ กำลังทดสอบ iPhone ในองค์กรอยู่ และตอนนี้ก็คงเริ่มทดสอบกันเสร็จบ้างแล้ว

ถ้าดูบนเว็บของ Good ก็มีซอฟต์แวร์เวอร์ชัน Android เหมือนกันครับ แต่ Android เพิ่งจะมีฟีเจอร์องค์กรแบบจริงจังก็ใน Froyo คงต้องรออีกสักพัก

เอาจริงๆแล้ว ในยุคสมัยแบบนี้ BB ต้องมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงแบบ iPhone บ้างครับ ถึงจะให้ดึงดูดคนให้ได้ตลอดเวลา
ถ้า Minor Change ไปเรื่อยๆนิดๆแบบ Nokia สมัยก่อน แบบนี้ก็เริ่มส่อแววจบแบบ Nokia, O2 นะหล่ะครับ

ยุคนี้ไม่มีใครเป็นที่หนึ่งได้นานซักเท่าไหร่นัก หากคิดจะยึดติดแต่รูปแบบเดิมๆ เริ่มชักมีข่าวบ่อยขึ้นละ องค์กรนี่นั่นย้ายมาใช้ iPhone แทน BB เดิม

RIM อาจค่อยสนใจเท่าไหร่ ในความเหนือชั้นกว่าของ wireless email ของตัวที่ Enterprise ยังยอมรับ ที่ใช้ data น้อยกว่า เร็วกว่า และ ยัง sync ทุกอย่างได้เวิคกว่า บน BES

แต่ RIM น่าจะสนใจ ตลาด bbm ราคาถูกอย่าง จีน อินเดีย และ บาลซิลมากกว่า เพราะทำให้ RIM ขึ้นเบอร์ 1 ของโลกมือถือได้
