ไมโครซอฟท์ขาย Surface with Windows RT นอกสหรัฐแล้ว

หลังจากไมโครซอฟท์เปิดจอง Surface with Windows RT ล่วงหน้าผ่านเว็บ Microsoft Store ในสหรัฐ ที่ราคาเริ่มต้น 499 ดอลลาร์ (ราว 15,000 บาท) และสินค้าหมดไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ล่าสุดบริษัทได้เปิดจองสินค้าล่วงหน้าในสหรัฐรอบที่สองและเปิดจองสินค้าล่วงหน้าในสหราชอาณาจักร เยอรมนี ฝรั่งเศส แคนาดา และออสเตรเลียผ่านหน้าเว็บแล้ว และตั้งแต่ 26 ตุลาคมนี้เป็นต้นไป บริษัทจะวางขายสินค้าผ่านร้านค้าของบริษัทและเว็บ Microsoft Store ในออสเตรเลีย แคนาดา จีน ฝรั่งเศส เยอรมนี ฮ่องกง สหราชอาณาจักร และสหรัฐ

อนึง ไมโครซอฟท์เรียก Surface บน ARM และบน x86 ว่า Surface with Windows RT และ Surface with Windows 8 Pro ตามลำดับ

มีหวังขึ้นมานิดนึงว่าไมโครซอฟท์จะขาย Surface ในไทย

ตั้งชื่อให้มันยาว จำยาก เพื่ออะไร ทุกคนไม่ใช่ geek และไม่ได้มีความรู้เรื่องคอมพ์เหมือนกันทุกคน ที่สำคัญมันเข้าใจยากสำหรับ consumer เขาจะรู้มั้ยว่า Windows RT มันต่างกับ Windows 8 Pro ตรงไหน เขาจะรู้ไหมว่า Windows RT ที่เขาใช้เอาโปรแกรมจาก PC มาลงไม่ได้ ในเมื่อ Windows Tablet ที่มีในตลาด มันก็หน้าตาแบบเดียวกันหมด X86 เอย RT เอย ผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่เขาไม่เข้าใจหรอก และเขาจะต้องทำความเข้าใจเรื่องพวกนี้ด้วยเหรอ ลองหัดดูการตั้งชื่อผลิตภัณฑ์ของ Apple บ้าง iPad 16GB 3G+Wifi จบ สั้น เข้าใจง่าย มันคือ iPa ขนาด 16GB ที่มีทั้ง 3G และ Wifi เรื่องการตั้งชื่อผลิตภัณฑ์ให้มันยาว จำยาก เข้าใจยาก นี่งานถนัดของ Microsoft เขาเลย

แล้วไอ้ Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2 มันขายไม่ได้เหรอครับ ตั้งชื่อยาวๆมันทำให้เขาขายไม่ได้เหรอ มีหลักฐานมายืนยันมั้ย ลูกค้าเขาสนใจว่าตั้งการอะไรอยู่แล้ว ซื้อ Pro ไปคุณก็ได้โปรแกรมเก่าๆพร้อมกับโปรแกรมใหม่ที่สร้างมาเพื่อ Modern ซื้อ RT ไป ใช้ทำงานเล็กๆน้อยเล่นเกมอะไรนิดๆหน่อย ผมว่าคุณนั่นแหละมั่ว กลับไป iOS ของคุณเถอะ คุณไม่เหมาะกับ WIndows อยู่แล้ว เอาเป็นว่า"ของเล่น"คุณทำงานจริงๆจังๆได้เมื่อไรค่อยมาพูดแล้วกัน
