[ข่าวที่ 5,000] iPhone ดูยูทูปได้โดยตรง ไม่ต้องใช้ Safari หรือแฟลช

เมื่อวานนี้แอปเปิลได้ประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการแล้วว่า iPhone จะมี YouTube Player อยู่บนเครื่องเลย หากอ้างอิงจากเว็บ iPhone ใหม่ (ดูของจริง In Action เลยที่นี่) แล้วจะเห็นได้ว่า iPhone จะมี "โปรแกรมเล่นคลิปจากยูทูบพิเศษที่สามารถเปิดใช้งานได้จากหน้าหลักทันที" นอกจากนี้แล้วผู้ใช้ iPhone ยังสามารถที่จะดาวน์โหลดและค้นหาวีดีโอพร้อมกับแชร์ให้เพื่อน ๆ คนอื่นดูผ่านทางอีเมลล์ได้ไม่ต่างกับการใช้ YouTube บนเว็บไซต์ตรง ๆ

นี่ก็ไม่นานหลังจากที่ Steve Jobs ได้ประกาศว่า Apple TV สามารถใช้งานได้กับยูทูบได้ สำหรับ iPhone นั้นจะเปิดตัวในสหรัฐวันเสาร์หน้า (ไม่ใช่เสาร์ที่จะถึง) เวลา 6 โมงเช้า (เวลาประเทศไทย) จะเกิดอะไรขึ้นก็คงจะทราบเร็ว ๆ นี้ล่ะ

สำหรับประเทศไทยนั้นที่งาน Commart ตัวแทนจำหน่ายแอปเปิลทั้งหลายบอกเป็นเสียงเดียวกันว่า iPhone วางขายในประเทศไทย "ต้นปีหน้า" แต่จะเล่นยูทูบได้หรือไม่อันนี้ต้องรอดูกระทรวง ICT แต่ว่า Blackberry ในประเทศไทยใช้ยูทูบได้นะ!

สำหรับผู้ใช้ Mac OS X บน Intel Mac ทั้งหลายครับ ตอนนี้แอปเปิลได้ปล่อย Mac OS X 10.4.10 ออกมาแล้วเช่นกัน สามารถดาวน์โหลดผ่าน Software Update ได้แล้วนะครับ

"ไม่ต่างกับการใช้ YouTube บนเว็บไซต์ตรงๆ" คิดว่าคงไม่ใช่ YouTube ที่เป็นแบบ full function ในหน้า browser มั้งครับ

เพราะก่อนหน้านี้วิดีโอแนะนำการใช้งาน YouTube ใน Apple TV บอกว่ามีเฉพาะวิดีโอที่เป็น top featured, most viewed, และ top rated โดยแอปเปิ้ล(อาจจ้าง YouTube ให้)ทำการแปลงไฟล์เหล่านั้นให้เป็นไฟล์ H.264 เพื่อให้ Apple TV สามารถเล่นไฟล์จาก YouTube ที่ไม่ใช่ flash video

iPhone ก็คงจะใช้สิ่งที่มีอยู่แล้วจาก Apple TV เพียงแต่จับมาลงในมือถือเท่านั้นครับ
