โซนี่คาด ทีวี OLED โตแน่

Sir Howard Glasgow เชื่อว่าเทคโนโลยี Organic Light-emitting Diodes หรือ OLED สามารถจะเข้ามาทำตลาดโทรทัศน์ได้แน่ ถึงแม้ว่าโซนี่จะพยายามผลิตจอโทรทัศน์ที่ใช้เทคโนโลยี OLED ที่มีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ แต่ขนาดนี้โซนี่ได้นำรุ่นขนาด 27 นิ้วมาแสดงที่งาน Consumer Electronic Show พร้อม ๆ กับจอ OLED ขนาด 11 นิ้ว

สิ่งที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับ OLED ก็คือทุกเซลของ OLED สามารถจะปล่อยแสงออกมาได้โดยไม่ต้องมี backlight ทำให้สามารถประหยัดพลังงานได้มากขึ้น และทำให้มีความบางมากกว่าจอ LCD อีกด้วย คุณสมบัติเหล่านี้ของ OLED ทำให้มันเป็นที่นิยมสำหรับเอาไปใช้ในเครื่องเล่น MP3 พกพาหรือโทรศัพท์มือถือ ที่ผู้ใช้มักจะพกติดตัวนำไปใช้ในกลางแจ้ง

ในขณะนี้ซัมซุงสามารถสร้างจอภาพ OLED ได้ใหญ่กว่าโซนี่ และโตชิบาเองก็มีเทคโนโลยีจะภาพใหม่ที่เรียกว่า SED ที่โฆษณาสรรพคุณไว้มาก แต่กลับเลื่อนการเปิดตัวไปเรื่อย ๆ อย่างไม่มีกำหนด สงครามเทคโนโลยีจอแบนรุ่นที่สองอาจจะกำลังระอุก็ได้...

ยอมรับจริงๆว่า technology OLED นี่ให้ภาพสวยมาก ผมเคยลองใช้ mp3 player ที่ใช้ oled นี่ติดใจมากครับ โดยเฉพาะเวลาอ่านตัหนังสือนี่คมชัดดีมาก แต่สงสัยว่า technology sed ของ toshiba นี่มันจะเป็นยังไงน้า อยากเห็นเร็วๆจัง

SED เป็นเทคโนโลยีของ Cannn + Toshiba ครับ คล้ายๆ กับจอ CRT ที่มีหลายปืนยิง electron 1 อันต่อ 1 pixel และทำให้บางพอๆ กับ LCD ทุกวันนี้ครับ แต่ข้อดีเทียบกับ LCD เป็นยังไงยังดูละเอียดพอครับ ใครรู้ก็ช่วยด้วยละกันครับ http://www.thaidphoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36530

OLED ได้ยินมา (ซักพักแล้ว) ว่ามีข้อดีหลายข้อ เช่น บางมาก กินไฟต่ำ คมชัดสูง แต่มันมีอายุการใช้งานค่อนข้างต่ำ ไม่ได้ตามมาซักพักแล้วเหมือนกัน ไม่แน่ใจว่าปัจจุบันอายุการใช้งานจะเป็นที่ยอมรับแล้วหรือยัง

ขอบคุณคุณ tong053 มากครับสำหรับข้อมูล ส่วนเรื่องจอ OLED นี่ล่าสุดที่ผมได้ยินมา มันมักจะมีปัญหาเรื่องความเสถียรน่ะครับแบบว่า พอเปิดไปได้ซัก 2-3 ชั่วโมงนี่การแสดงผลเริ่มเพี้ยน แต่มันเมื่อ 6 เดือนก่อนได้ล่ะมี๊งตอนนี้คงจะแก้กันได้แล้ว ถึงได้เอาออกมาโชว์แบบนี้
