จำนวนผู้ใช้ Pixel ในอเมริกาเหนือเพิ่มก้าวกระโดด หลังการวางขาย Pixel 9

เว็บไซต์ StarCounter รายงานสถิติการใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตรอบเดือนตุลาคม 2024 มีประเด็นน่าสนใจคือ ส่วนแบ่งตลาดยี่ห้อของอุปกรณ์พกพาในพื้นที่อเมริกาเหนือ (Mobile Vendor Market Share North America) ของ Google Pixel เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ จาก 4.76% ในเดือนกันยายน กระโดดมาเป็น 12.83% ในเดือนตุลาคม

หากเราตีความตัวเลขนี้ การพุ่งขึ้นของผู้ใช้งาน Pixel ในอเมริกาเหนือ ก็น่าจะมาจากการวางขาย Pixel 9 Series ที่เริ่มขายช่วงเดือนกันยายนนั่นเอง

ส่วนแบ่งตลาดมือถือในอเมริกาเหนือ iPhone ยังนำแบบทิ้งห่างที่ 51.31% ตามด้วย Samsung ที่ 23.73% และ Pixel ตามมาเป็นอันดับสาม ส่วนอันดับสี่คือ Motorola 3.24% และอันดับห้า Xiaomi 1.78% ทั้งนี้ข้อมูลของ StatCounter มาจากทราฟฟิกการใช้งานเว็บ ไม่ใช่ยอดขายเป็นจำนวนเครื่องแบบเดียวกับบริษัทวิจัยตลาดรายอื่นๆ แต่ก็สอดคล้องกับข้อมูลของ Counterpoint ที่บอกว่า Google Pixel สร้างยอดขายไตรมาสสาม สูงสุดเป็นประวัติการณ์ตั้งแต่ทำ Pixel มา

ผมว่ากำหนดการขายแบบใหม่แบบสับทำให้ขายดีกว่าเดิม
เลื่อนขายไวขึ้นจาก Q4 เป็น Q3 แน่นอนว่ายอดขายช่วง Q3 ก็ต้องเยอะเพราะเป็นไตรมาสแรกของการวางขายรุ่นใหม่
Q4 ก็มีช่วงลด Black Friday ลากยาวไป Cyber Monday กับช่วงคริสมาสต์-ปีใหม่ มากระตุ้นยอดขายในเทศกาลจับจ่ายใช้สอยตามฤดูกาลของฝรั่ง
