Mercedes-Benz โชว์ระบบอินโฟเทนเมนต์บนรถยนต์ใหม่ ใช้ชิพและระบบ AI จาก NVIDIA

ในงาน CES 2018 นี้ Mercedes-Benz ได้โชว์ระบบอินโฟเทนเมนต์แบบใหม่บนรถยนต์ในชื่อว่า Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) ซึ่งเป็นความร่วมมือระหว่าง Mercedes-Benz กับ NVIDIA พร้อมเริ่มนำมาใช้จริงเดือนหน้าในรถยนต์ A-Class

เทคโนโลยีเบื้องหลังของ MBUX คือการใช้ชิพกราฟิกและ deep learning จาก NVIDIA ซึ่งเป็นการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างทีมของ Mercedes-Benz ในเยอรมนี และทีมของ NVIDIA ใน Silicon Valley เสมือนว่าเป็นทีมเดียว ทำให้ระบบอินโฟเทนเมนต์ใหม่นี้เป็นระบบจอสามมิติรองรับการสัมผัส และสามารถใช้ระบบสั่งการด้วยเสียงได้เพียงเรียก “Hey, Mercedes”

ระบบ AI ในอินโฟเทนเมนต์นี้ จะยังสามารถแนะนำเพลงที่ผู้ใช้ชอบ หรือแนะนำเส้นทางไปยังร้านอาหารที่ชอบได้ และยังรองรับการอัพเดตผ่าน OTA เพื่อการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ใหม่ ๆ ในอนาคต

ระบบสั่งการด้วยเสียงใหม่ของ Mercedes-Benz นี้ จะไม่ใช่ระบบสั่งการแบบเดิม ๆ ที่ต้องทำเหมือนกับสั่งงานหุ่นยนต์ อย่างเช่นแทนที่จะสั่งปรับอุณหภูมิแอร์โดยตรง ก็สามารถบอกได้ว่า “Hey Mercedes, I’m too cold” รถยนต์ก็จะปรับอุณหภูมิแอร์ให้อัตโนมัติ คือจะเหมือนสั่งการกับมนุษย์มากยิ่งขึ้น โดย Mercedes-Benz ทำระบบนี้รองรับ 23 ภาษา และจะคอยอัพเดตอยู่เรื่อย ๆ เพื่อให้ทันต่อคำแสลงในยุคใหม่ ๆ

ระบบนี้อินโฟเทนเมนต์แบบใหม่นี้ Mercedes-Benz จะเริ่มนำมาใส่ในรถยนต์ A-Class ที่ขายในยุโรปเป็นครั้งแรก จากนั้นจึงจะนำใส่ใน CLA, GLA ในอเมริกาเหนือ และจะขยายไปจนเกือบครบทุกโมเดลของรถยนต์ Mercedes-Benz ภายใน 2-3 ปีนี้
