Disney ประกาศซื้อหุ้น OpenAI 1 พันล้านดอลลาร์ พร้อมเปิดให้สร้างวิดีโอจากคาแรกเตอร์บน Sora ได้

Walt Disney ประกาศทำข้อตกลงกับ OpenAI โดยจะลงทุนใน OpenAI เป็นเงิน 1,000 ล้านดอลลาร์ พร้อมสิทธิที่สามารถซื้อหุ้นเพิ่มทุนได้อีกในอนาคต

นอกจากการลงทุนใน OpenAI แล้ว Walt Disney ยังทำข้อตกลงให้ไลเซนส์กับ OpenAI สามารถใช้งานคาแรกเตอร์ของเครือดิสนีย์ทั้ง Disney, Marvel, Pixar และ Star Wars สำหรับสร้างวิดีโอด้วย AI ผ่าน Sora เป็นระยะเวลา 3 ปี ซึ่งรวมแล้วมีมากกว่า 200 คาแรกเตอร์ที่เลือกใช้งานได้

นอกจากนี้ดิสนีย์จะคัดเลือกวิดีโอที่สร้างบนคาแรกเตอร์จากใน Sora เพื่อนำเสนอผ่านแพลตฟอร์ม Disney+ ด้วย

ดิสนีย์ยังบอกว่าจะนำเครื่องมือ AI ต่าง ๆ ของ OpenAI อย่าง API มาช่วยในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และเครื่องมือต่าง ๆ ภายในดิสนีย์ ซึ่งรวมทั้งนำมาใช้กับ Disney+ ด้วย และจะสมัคร ChatGPT ให้พนักงานได้ใช้งานทุกคน

แล้ว ลิขสิทธิ์การ์ตูนที่สร้างจาก Ai แม้จะแบบจ่ายตังค์หรือเปล่าเจ้าของ ยังคงอยู่ใต้กฏเดี๋ยวกันไหม ที่ว่า

ภาพที่สร้างจากเทคโนโลยี AI ไม่อาจได้รับความคุ้มครองตามกฎหมายลิขสิทธิ์ได้เพราะเป็นงานที่สร้างโดยกลจักรอัตโนมัติ

อนาคต Disney คงอยากให้คนเอาตัวละครไปปั้มใน AI ลงอินเทอร์เน็ต เพิ่มปริมาณ user generated content ดีกว่ามานั่งป้องกันคนละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์ ต่อต้านไม่ได้ก็เข้าร่วมซะ ที่น่าเป็นห่วงจะตามโลกไม่ทันคือฝั่งญี่ปุ่น เช่น studio ghibli ที่ดูจะหัวอนุรักษ์นิยมไม่ยอมแม้แต่จะใช้เครื่องมือ AI เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการสร้างผลงาน

ผมคิดว่าการไร้เอไอ มีแต่งานจากคนจริงล้วนๆนี่แหละที่จะทำให้จีบลีดูดีและได้รับความนิยมเพิ่มขึ้น เพราะคนส่วนมากจะชอบงานศิลปะงานบันเทิงที่ทำโดยคนจริง ไร้เอไอ และไม่ชอบงานเอไอ กันอยู่แล้ว

  1. เมื่อคนทั่วไปสามารถสร้างคลิปโว้คดิสนีย์ได้เองแล้ว แล้วคลิปเหล่านี้เกิดเป็นไวรัล หรือถูกใจคนจำนวนมากขึ้นมา หนังหรือคอนเทนต์ของแท้ของโว้คดิสนีย์ก็คงถูกคนเมินไปเหมือนกัน โดยคนจะไปดูคลิปพวกนั้นแทน
  2. คลิปโว้คดิสนีย์ที่คนทั่วไปสร้างอาจมีเนื้อหาไม่เหมาะสม บวกกับความสมจริงของคลิปอาจจะทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดว่าโว้คดิสนีย์เป็นผู้สร้างเอง จะทำให้ภาพลักษณ์เสื่อมเสียได้
