นินเทนโดประกาศวันขาย เกม Pokemon Legends: Z-A เป็นวันที่ 16 ตุลาคม 2025 ทั้งบน Switch 1 และ Switch 2

Pokemon Legends: Z-A ถือเป็นเกมลำดับที่สองของซีรีส์ Pokemon Legends ที่ไม่ใช่ภาคหลัก แต่นำพื้นที่ของเกมภาคหลักมาเล่าในไทม์ไลน์ที่แตกต่างไป เกมแรกของซีรีส์คือ Pokémon Legends: Arceus (2022) ซึ่งจับความเหตุการณ์ก่อนภาค Pokemon Diamond and Pearl แต่ใช้พื้นที่เดียวกัน ส่วนภาค Z-A เป็นเหตุการณ์ในอนาคตต่อจากภาค Pokémon X and Y

เกมเวอร์ชัน Switch 2 จะต่างจาก Switch 1 ตรงกราฟิกและเฟรมเรตที่ดีกว่าเดิม ผู้ที่ซื้อเกมเวอร์ชัน Switch 1 แล้วต้องการนำไปเล่นกับ Switch 2 สามารถซื้อแพ็กเกจอัพเกรดเป็นเวอร์ชัน Switch 2 เพิ่มเติมได้
