iOS 18 รองรับ RCS แล้ว ยังแสดงกล่องข้อความเป็นสีเขียว ไม่ใช่สีน้ำเงิน iMessage

ของใหม่ใน iOS 18 คือรองรับการส่งข้อความ RCS (Rich Communication Services) ตามที่แอปเปิลเคยประกาศไว้ ส่งผลให้ iOS และ Android สามารถส่งข้อความแบบ RCS ข้ามระหว่างกันได้ (สักที)

แอปเปิลได้โชว์ภาพหน้าจอของการใช้งาน RCS บนหน้าเว็บของ iOS 18 Preview โดยระบุว่า RCS จะช่วยให้ส่งข้อความที่มีสื่อ (ภาพ เสียง วิดีโอ) และตัวบอกสถานะการส่ง-อ่าน (delivery and read receipts) กับคนที่ไม่ได้ใช้ iMessage ได้ด้วย

แต่ประเด็นสำคัญคือ ข้อความ RCS จะถูกแสดงในกล่องข้อความสีเขียว ยัง "แตกต่าง" จากข้อความในระบบ iMessage ที่ปกติใช้กล่องข้อความสีน้ำเงิน (ตามที่เคยประกาศไว้) ซึ่งเรื่องนี้เคยเป็นประเด็นเรื่องการแบ่งแยกสีของกล่องข้อความ โดยเฉพาะในสหรัฐที่ยังนิยมส่งข้อความแบบ SMS ดั้งเดิมกันอยู่มาก

ในมือมีทั้ง iPhone (ส่วนตัว)และ android (ทำงาน) และพ่อแม่ใช้ android ก็ไม่ได้รู้สึกว่าเหยียดอะไรนะ ดีซะอีก จะจับใช้ RCSให้หมด อยากพิสูจน์ว่าจะดึงออกจากการเสพติดการใช้ line ได้มั้ย มีเดียไม่หมดอายุด้วย

RCS เก็บ media ค้างไว้บน server ไม่หมดอายุหรอครับ ใครเป็นคนเก็บหรอครับ
ถ้าฝั่ง iOS เข้าใจว่าเก็บบน iCloud(เนื้อที่ตามที่มี) เหมือน SMS ที่สามารถเปิดผ่าน iPad, Mac ได้ แต่ถ้าฝั่ง Android ไม่รู้ว่ามี sync ขึ้น Google Drive หรือเปล่าครับ

ในแอพ Google One มีให้เลือกแบคอัพนะครับน่าจะอัพขึ้น GGDrive อ่ะแหละ ไม่ชัวร์เหมือนกันเพราะมี Android เครื่องเดียวเลยไม่รู้จะเทสกับใคร

ติดต่อทีเดียวจัดการให้หมด จัดการข้ามฝ่ายยังได้
แต่ AIS จะตอบรับว่า

"แค่วันละข้อความทุกวัน ไม่ถือว่าเป็น Spam ต้องเกิน 10 ข้อความทุกวัน"
"รับเรื่องไว้แล้ว แต่จะส่งเรื่องให้เมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่รู้"
"ถ้าส่งเรื่องไปแล้ว อีกฝ่ายได้รับเมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่รู้"
"ได้รับแล้ว จะตอบรับเมื่อไหร่ก็ไม่รู้"
"ได้รับแล้ว จะทำให้หรือเปล่าก็ไม่รู้"​
"อาจจะไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้นเลย เพราะอีกแผนกไม่ยกเลิกให้"
"ก็ลองติดต่อมาใหม่แล้วกัน แต่ไม่รับประกันว่าจะยกเลิกได้"

ซึ่งก็นะ ผมเจอความถ่อย AIS มาไม่น้อย สารพัดแผนก สารพัดฝ่าย จนเข้าใจได้ว่า ถ้าไม่ใช้เส้น Filter ที่ตัวเอง หรือไม่ใช้มันง่ายกว่ า

ขอสีเขียวอ่อนก็ได้นะ แค่อยากรู้ว่าเป็น RCS ไหม บน Google Messages คือดูออกค่อนข้างยากเลยว่าตัวเองใช้เงินจ่ายหรือส่งผ่าน RCS อยู่
