eSport ยังมาแรงต่อเนื่อง และไม่หวั่นแม้การแข่งขันจะเวลาชนกับมหกรรมกีฬาประจำปี Super Bowl นัดชิงชนะเลิศ ล่าสุดช่องกีฬา ESPN จับมือกับ EA ถ่ายทอดสดการแข่งขันทัวร์นาเมนต์ FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship บนช่องทีวีช่องหลักของ ESPN โดยตรง ถือเป็นครั้งแรกที่ ESPN ถ่ายทอด eSprot ผ่านช่องหลักของตัวเอง

สิ่งที่น่าสนใจคือการแข่งขันรอบคัดเลือก Paris Regional Final มีเวลาตรงกับ Super Bowl นัดชิงชนะเลิศ (วันพรุ่งนี้ช่วงเช้ามืด) ที่จะถ่ายทอดผ่านช่อง Fox ด้วย

ESPN บอกว่าไม่ได้ตั้งใจถ่ายทอดสดชนกับ Super Bowl และบริษัทมองว่ากลุ่มเป้าหมายของกีฬาสองประเภทแตกต่างกัน

ทัวร์นาเมนต์ FIFA 17 จะมีแข่งรอบเอเชียที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ในวันที่ 22 เมษายน และรอบชิงชนะเลิศวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคมที่กรุงเบอร์ลิน นอกจากการถ่ายทอดสดทางทีวีแล้วก็ยังสามารถดูได้จากทั้ง Twitch และ YouTube
