หลังเปิดตัว Zenfone 3 รุ่นต่างๆ ไปแล้วเมื่อกลางปี ล่าสุดในงาน CES 2017 ทาง ASUS ได้เปิดตัว Zenfone 3 Zoom สมาร์ทโฟนเน้นกล้องรุ่นใหม่

Zenfone 3 Zoom มาพร้อมหน้าจอ 5.5 นิ้วความละเอียด FHD ครอบด้วย Gorilla Glass 5 ชิปเซ็ตใช้ Snapdragon 625 แรมสูงสุด 4GB ความจุสูงสุด 128GB แบตเตอรี่ 5,000 mAh รันแอนดรอยด์ 6.0 ครอบทับด้วย ZenUI 3.0 พร้อมพอร์ตหูฟัง 3.5 มม., USB-C และเซ็นเซอร์สแกนลายนิ้วมือ

กล้องหน้าของ Zenfone 3 Zoom ความละเอียด 13 ล้านพิกเซล ใช้เซ็นเซอร์ IMX214 ของโซนี รูรับแสง f/2.0 กล้องหลังเป็นกล้องคู่ (กล้องหลัก+กล้องซูม) ความละเอียด 12 ล้านพิกเซลทั้งคู่ สำหรับกล้องหลักใช้เซ็นเซอร์ IMX362 ของโซนี f/.1.7 รับภาพได้กว้าง 82 องศา มี OIS 4 แกนและ EIS อีก 3 แกน รองรับการถ่ายวิดีโอความละเอียดสูงสุด 4K 24fps พร้อม PDAF ส่วนกล้องซูมรองรับการซูมได้สูงสุด 12 เท่า พร้อม Optical Zoom 2.3 เท่า
