Windows 10 ตัดฟีเจอร์ซิงค์เลย์เอาท์เมนู Start และแอพที่ลงจาก Windows Store

เว็บไซต์ WinSuperSite ได้รับการยืนยันจากไมโครซอฟท์ว่า Windows 10 จะไม่มีฟีเจอร์ซิงค์เลย์เอาท์เมนู Start และแอพที่ลงจาก Windows Store ไปยังอุปกรณ์ต่างๆ ที่ถูกผูกด้วย Microsoft Account เดียวกัน ซึ่งเคยปรากฏบน Windows 8/8.1

ไมโครซอฟท์ให้เหตุผลในการตัดฟีเจอร์ซิงค์เลย์เอาท์เมนู Start ว่า พบว่าผู้ใช้ต้องการปรับแต่งเมนู Start ให้เข้ากับแต่ละอุปกรณ์ที่เขาใช้งาน (อาทิ ตามขนาดหน้าจอ) ส่วนเหตุผลในการตัดฟีเจอร์ซิงค์แอพที่ลงจาก Windows Store ทาง WinSuperSite คาดว่าข้อมูล telemetry จากผู้ใช้ Windows 8/8.1 แสดงให้เห็นว่ามีคนใช้ฟีเจอร์ดังกล่าวน้อย

ก่อนหน้านี้ซักสิบปี Windows เป็นต้นแบบหรือไอเดียให้คนอื่นทำตามหรือแอบทำตาม
แต่ตอนนี้หละ ทำตามคนอื่นเป็นทางเลือกที่น่าสนใจนะ ตามความคิดผมนะ MS น่าจะ
*** ให้ Windows กลายเป็นโอเพ่นซอส แต่เป็นเฉพาะแกนกลางพอ(Shell)
ส่วน App ที่เหลือผลักไปไว้ที่ Store แทน เปิดให้มีการแข่งขัน App ไหนดังซื้อเข้ามา

*** สำหรับนักพัฒนา Visual Studio + Office+Database ทำมันหลาย ๆ Platform ไปเลย iOS , Android หรือ
Linux คนไม่พอจ้างเพิ่ม แถวนี้น่าจะมีเยอะ ผมหละคนนึง

*** หลังจากนั้นซักสามปีถ้าไปรอดนะ ให้ทำ Windows แบ่งเป็น Edition ดังนี้
- Windows Home อันนี้ฟรี มีรุ่นสำหรับมือถือด้วย
- Windows Professional เป็น Windows ที่รวม App ดังๆไว้ ซื้อแบบนี้ถูกว่าซื้อแยก
- Windows Server เป็น Windows สำหรับ Server ที่รวม App ดังๆสำหรับ Server ไว้
- Windows for IoT สำหรับอุปกรณ์เช่น มือถือราคาถูก รถยนต์ ตู้เย็น

เป็นไปยากมากครับเพราะมันไม่ใช่แค่ Windows แต่สิทธิบัตรต่างๆเหมือนยกให้คนอื่นใช้ฟรีๆ แล้วสิทธิบัตรมันจะผูกพันกับผลิตภัณฑ์อื่นด้วย ผมว่ามันคนใช้อะเฮแต่ผู้ถือหุ้นไม่เฮด้วยแน่ๆ แล้วมันจะเจ๊งก่อนจะรุ่งแน่ๆเลยครับ

แต่ผมนี่ปวดหัวกับมันมาก ๆ เลย
ซึ่งผมก็จะใช้งาน Outlook กับ Powerpoint เก็บไว้ในกลุ่ม Office

ส่วนเครื่องทำงานผมจะใช้ Excel Powerpoint Word ก็เก็บไว้ในกลุ่ม Office
วันดีคืนดีมันก็แยก Powerpoint ผมไปกลุ่ม Office อีกอันนึงเฉยเลย - -"
