Sharpdevelop IDE สำหรับ .NET แบบเปิดเผยซอร์สโค้ด (ซึ่งเขียนด้วย C#) ออกเวอร์ชั่นใหม่เพื่อรองรับ .NET 2.0 แล้วครับ

เจ้า Sharpdevelop สนับสนุนภาษา C#, VB.NET และ ภาษา Boo(ไม่เคยได้ยิน) ความสามารถต่างๆ ดูได้ที่ Feature Tour ครับ มีเปรียบเทียบกับ Visual Studio Express ด้วยที่ VisualStudioExpress Comparison ซึ่งดูแล้วเลือกยากเหมือนกัน

สำหรับผู้ที่อยากจะหัด .NET Sharpdevelop นี่เข้าท่าดีเหมือนกันครับ สร้าง Form แบบ Visual ได้, มี Unit testing ให้, มี Refactoring และเลือก Framework ของ Client ได้ว่าเอา .NET เวอร์ชั่น 1.0 ถึง 2.0 ได้ และแม้กระทั่ง Mono ครับ

ตัว Boo นี่ได้ยินมานานแล้วครับ แต่หลังๆเพราะผมไม่ติดตามเองหรือว่ามันไม่มีข่าวก็ไม่รู้ เงียบไปนานเชียว

ถ้าสนใจ Python ก็ดูที่ IronPython ก็ได้ครับ

เดี๋ยวจะหามาลอง

พึ่งลอง monodevelop ไปวันก่้อน ไม่ประทับใจอย่างแรง dialog editor มีบั๊กด้วย(ลากไปลากมา text box ลอยมาอยู่นอก form ได้ แล้วก็ Crash แบบดื้อๆ)

ลองแล้วครับ ถ้าจะเขียน Win app ก็ถือว่าใช้ได้เลยทีเดียว แต่ถ้าจะเขียน web app ยังแพ้ทาง Express edition อยู่พอสมควร

อนาคตถ้าเพิ่มเติมความสามารถด้าน web app เข้าไป จะเป็นของฟรีสำหรับ .NET ที่ดีมาก

ทีดีกว่า 1 มาก ๆ คือมัน debug ได้นี่แหล่ะ ที่เกษตรใช้สอนอยู่ ปีก่อน ๆ สอนโดยที่ให้นิสิตดู debug ไล่โปรแกรมไม่ได้เลย

ดูเหมือนจะออกช้าเหมือนกันนะ .NET 2.0 ออกมาตั้งนานแล้ว :(

น่าสนใจไม่เลว ปกติพวก webbase ผมมักจะใช้ text editor เป็นส่วนใหญ่ มาใช้ tools พวกนี้ น่าจะช่วยให้ได้ productivity มากขึ้น
