ขอรวมข่าวลือโค้งสุดท้ายของระบบปฏิบัติการ Windows รุ่นถัดไป (โค้ดเนม Threshold หรือที่เราเรียกว่า Windows 9) มานำเสนอ ดังนี้

Threshold จะมากับระบบเก็บข้อมูลที่เครื่องผู้ใช้ส่งกลับแบบไม่ระบุตัวตน (telemetry data) แบบใกล้เคียงเวลาจริง โค้ดเนม Asimov ระบบนี้ได้รับการพัฒนาโดยทีม Xbox ระบบนี้อาจสอดคล้องกับประกาศรับสมัครงานของบริษัทที่ต้องการคนมาทำงานกับระบบที่ในทางทฤษฎีแล้วสามารถแก้ไขเมนู Start บนทุกเครื่องได้ในเวลาน้อยกว่าหนึ่งสัปดาห์ - ZDNet

OEM License ถูกกว่าซื้อกล่องประมาณเกือบครึ่งครับ และถ้าเป็น OEM เจ้าใหญ่ ๆ จะได้ส่วนลดมากขึ้นไปอีก

ตรงนี้ผมว่าตลกดี ปกติเวลาทำงานบริษัทผมจะปกป้องข้อมูล ของบริษัทไม่ให้คู่ค้า หรือว่าลูกค้ารู้ หรือว่ารู้น้อยที่สุดเท่าที่เป็นไปได้ และดุลูกน้องเสมอเวลา ไปให้ข้อมูลที่ไม่จำเป็น

อันนี้มันเหมือน เผยไต๋ให้end user รู้ อย่างที่คุณว่า ว่าราคามันต่างกันเป็นครึ่ง

เลยไม่ได้ upgrade ตลกดี เรื่องพวกนี้เป็นเรื่องของพวกคุณภายใน end user ไม่จำเป็นต้องรับรู้

ก็ชั้นซื้อ windows 8.1 ไม่ว่าจะกล่องหรือว่า OEM ทำไมมันต่างกัน ? คือคำถามของ end user

+1 ก็จัดให้ฟรีหมดสำหรับ 8->9 ก็จบละ ต้องมาแบ่งแยกระดับของลูกค้าเกรด A,B,C อีก มันดูยิบย่อยไปไม๊. หรือถ้าจะเก็บเพิ่มในราคาพิเศษสำหรับ 8->9 ให้เท่าๆ กันยังดูดีกว่า

แต่ยังไงก็ตามเนื่องจากเป็นข่าวลือ ถึงเวลาอาจจะเปลี่ยนไปจากนี้ก็ได้นะ

อันนี้เป็นข่าวลืมเลยออกมาในลักษณะตรงๆถ้าข่าวลือนี้เป็นจริงเราอาจจะได้เห็นมันในรูป "ระบบเช็คสิทธิ" คือ end user ไม่จำเป็นต้องรู้หรอกว่าฉันได้อัพเกรดหรือไม่ได้อัพเป็นเพราะ FPP หรือ OEM แต่รู้แค่ว่ามีสิทธิได้ฟรีหรือไม่เท่านั้น

กับ 8 System Builder ครับ
เหมือนจะเป็น FPP ก็ไม่ใช OEM ก็ไม่เชิง คนลง VM Ware นี่ปวดหัวกันหมดเลยครับ

8.1 ถึงกลับมาใช้ license แบบเดิม คือ FPP กับ OEM ครับ
