จากที่ King.com ผู้พัฒนาเกมยอดฮิต Candy Crush Saga ได้จดทะเบียนเครื่องหมายการค้า Candy และ Saga นั้น ได้สร้างความไม่พอใจในมวลมหานักพัฒนาเกมเป็นอย่างมาก ล่าสุดนักพัฒนาเกมสองรายคือ Caribou (@caribouloche) และ T-Wave (@uuav) ได้ร่วมมือกันจัดงาน Candy Jam ขึ้นเพื่อตอบโต้การใช้งานเครื่องหมายการค้าในทางที่ไม่เหมาะสม

Candy Jam เป็นงาน Game Jam ที่สนับสนุนให้นักพัฒนาส่งเกมที่มีการใช้ภาพลูกกวาดในเกม และใช้คำว่า 'Candy' ให้มากเท่าที่จะมากได้ และถ้าใช้คำว่า 'Scroll' 'Memory' 'Saga' 'Apple' และ 'Edge' ด้วยก็จะได้คะแนนพิเศษครับ

ตอนนี้งานนี้เริ่มแล้ว และกำหนดส่งงานอยู่ที่วันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ที่จะถึงนี้ นักพัฒนาเกมท่านใดสนใจอยากร่วมแจมก็ส่งเกมไปได้ที่เว็บไซท์ของงานนะครับ

เขาอาจจะมองเป็นชื่อซอฟท์แวร์ตัวหนึ่งก็ได้ครับ โดยเฉพาะชื่อเกมที่ไม่น่าจะให้ซ้ำกันได้ ถ้าเป็นแอปสอนทำขนม หรือหนังสือนิทานพวกนี้ไม่เป็นไร

แต่นี่มันคำว่า saga เลยนะครับ

ลองนึกภาพห้ามตั้งชื่อหนังสือโดยใช้คำว่า "กับ" "และ" ดูก็ได้ครับ แน่นอนว่าเลี่ยงได้ แต่มันไม่มีเหตุผลเลยที่ผมจะต้องไม่ใส่สองคำนี้ลงไปเพราะมันซ้ำกับอีกเจ้านึง หรือไม่ก็มาห้ามผมตั้งชื่อหนังที่มีคำว่า "ฟัด" เพราะจะซ้ำกับหนังเฉินหลง
