ตอนนี้ iPad mini ก็วางขายอย่างเป็นทางการแล้ว หลายเว็บเริ่มหา iPad mini มาทำ drop test

ทางฝั่ง Android Authority ทดสอบการตกของหน้าจอ โดยนำ iPad mini มาเทียบกับ Nexus 7 ซึ่งหน้าจอ iPad mini แตกมากกว่า แต่การตอบสนองเป็นปกติ ส่วน Nexus 7 หน้าจอแตกน้อยกว่าแต่ไม่ตอบสนอง

ส่วนบริษัทรับประกัน SquareTrade ทดสอบ iPad mini เทียบกับ Nexus 7 และ iPad (3rd generation) ซึ่งมีทั้งการตกแบบตกตรงมุม คว่ำหน้าจอลง และทดสอบจุ่มน้ำ 10 วินาที ผลปรากฏว่า iPad mini ตกตรงมุมแล้วเสียหายน้อยที่สุด การตกแบบคว่ำหน้าจอ Nexus 7 ชนะ เพราะหน้าจอแทบไม่มีรอยแตก ส่วนการจุ่มน้ำ 10 วินาที iPad mini ยังทำงานได้เหมือนเดิม

การทำสอบอันแรกทดสอบหลายอย่างอยู่ (ตกขอบ ตกหลัง ตกหน้า) ซึ่ง Nexus 7 ก็แตกเหมือนกันนะ

"ส่วนบริษัทรับประกัน SquareTrade ทดสอบ iPad mini เทียบกับ Nexus 7 และ iPad (3rd generation) ซึ่ง iPad mini แทบไม่มีปัญหาเมื่อตกตรงมุมเครื่อง แต่เมื่อเอาหน้าจอลง หน้าจอกลับแตกละเอียด"

Nexus 7 ล่ะ?

คือไม่จำเป็นต้องบอกผลทุกการทดสอบก็ได้ แต่บอกกว้าง ๆ หน่อยก็ดี อ่านแล้วเหมือน iPad Mini แย่โคตร ส่วน Nexus 7 เทพโคตร (ไม่ได้บอกว่าแตกเลย) ทั้ง ๆ ที่มันก็ร้าวเหมือนกัน
