[ข่าวลือ] เลข Build ของ Windows 8 RTM จะเป็น 8888

เว็บไซต์ Winunleaked.info เปิดเผยโดยอ้างแหล่งข่าวว่า เลข build ที่ไมโครซอฟท์จะ sign off เพื่อให้เป็นตัว RTM (Release to Manufacturing) ของ Windows 8 จะเป็น 8888.16384.win8_rtm.120724-1555 และไมโครซอฟท์น่าจะ sign off ภายในบ่ายวันนี้หรืออย่างช้าก็เป็นเช้าวันพรุ่งนี้ (ตามเวลาสหรัฐ)

จากข่าวลือก่อนหน้านี้ ที่เลข build ของ Windows 8 รันมาอยู่ที่ 8523 และตามกำหนดการที่ไมโครซอฟท์ประกาศออกมาว่า Windows 8 จะเข้าสู่สถานะ RTM ในสัปดาห์แรกของเดือนสิงหาคม และได้รับการวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 26 ต.ค. แสดงให้เห็นว่าไมโครซอฟท์ยังคงมีเวลาปรับแต่ง Windows 8 อยู่ แต่เลข build ที่ยังห่างไกลกับ 8888 นี่อาจเป็นไปได้ว่าไมโครซอฟท์จะปรับเลข build ตัวสุดท้ายที่ไมโครซอฟท์ sign off เป็นเลขดังกล่าว

มะ..ไม่ได้นะ...ต้องซื้อแผ่นแท้สิ :P (แซวนะครับ)

รอซื้อโน๊ตบุคเครื่องใหม่ Bundle Windows 8 ดีกว่า ของตัวเองตอนนี้ใกล้ไปแล้ว T_T

ไม่ครับ ใช้ระบบเดียวกับ Office 2013 ตอนลงใช้ไฟล์ขนาด 10 MB ให้บูตระบบพร้อมกราฟฟิคหน้าบูต ที่เหลือค่อย ๆ โหลดระหว่างถัดจากนั้นครับ

สงสัยกว่าหน้า login จะพร้อม รอโหลดไปครึ่งวัน :p

เคยรู้มาว่าเลข 8 เป็นเลขที่ดีทางหวงจุ้ย ไม่รู้ไมโครซอฟท์จะเอาเรื่องแบบนี้มาเล่นเพื่อให้วินโดว์น 8 เกิดรึปล่าว ฮ่าๆๆ

มี 3 กรณีเมื่อถึงเลข build 8888

  1. เก็บบั๊กไม่ละเอียด เพราะจำนวนเลขไม่พอ สุดท้ายหลุดเป็นโปรดักส์ที่ต้องโหลดอัพเดตอีกอื้อ
  2. เก็บบั๊กหลักๆ หมดก่อน (เป็นไปได้เหรอ?) เลยต้อง commit build เปล่าๆ ให้เลขรันไปถึง 8888
  3. เก็บบั๊กได้เสร็จพอดี ทำได้จริงต้องแนะนำทีมพัฒนาซื้อล็อตเตอร์รี่ของอเมริกาครับ ได้ยินว่าถูกยากมาก

ไม่ได้อยากเหน็บแต่รู้สึกเลข build 8888 กับความเป็นจริงของการ develope มันเป็นคนละเรื่องกันเลย เหมือนข่าว PR แนวเคสมือถือทำจากเซรามิคดำอะไรทนรอยขีดข่วนแล้วสุดท้ายหล่นแตกได้ซะงั้น

ถ้าเป็นเวอร์ชั่น 8888 จริง สงสัยว่าไมโครซอฟท์จะเชื่อเรื่องศาสตร์ Infinity รึเปล่า?
