Capcom เผย เกมบน 3DS จะใช้เอนจินเดียวกับบนคอนโซล

Capcom ได้เปิดเผยกับนักลงทุนว่าเกมของตัวเองที่จะลงเครื่อง Nintendo 3DS จะใช้เอนจิน MT Framework ซึ่งเป็นเทคโนโลยีตัวเดียวกับเกมบนเครื่อง PS3, Xbox 360 และ Wii ของบริษัทเอง

MT Framework ถูกพัฒนาขึ้นมาสำหรับเกม Dead Rising และ Lost Planet ปัจจุบันเอนจินตัวนี้มาถึงเวอร์ชัน 2.1 โดยมีเกม Marvel vs Capcom 3 เป็นลูกค้าใช้งาน

สำหรับเกมบน Nintendo 3DS จะใช้ MT Framework รุ่นเต็ม ซึ่งรองรับฟีเจอร์ด้านกราฟิกมากมาย เช่น HDR lighting, realtime colour correction, self-shadowing, normal mapping, depth of field, motion blur ดูภาพประกอบได้ตามลิงก์

เกมบน Nintendo 3DS ที่มีข่าวจะใช้ MT Framework ได้แก่ Resident Evil: Revelations และ Street Fighter IV

MT Framework [MTF] ในที่นี้คือ MT Framework Mobile [MTFM] มีพื้นฐานมาจากเอนจิน MTF 2.0

โดยทาง CAPCOM ไม่บอกว่าใช้กับ iphone,psp ในปัจจุบันได้หรือไม่ (เครื่อง PSP บอกว่าต้องเป็นรุ่นถัดไป)
ซึ่งอาจเป็นที่มาว่าทำไม Resident Evil portable สำหรับ PSP ที่ประกาศใน e3 ปีที่แล้วถึงไม่มีความคืบหน้า (ความเห็นส่วนตัว)

  • ตัวเกมถ้าเปิดฟังก์ชั่น 3D จะรันได้ที่ 30fps
  • โหมต 3D จะปิด motion blur ซึ่งยังเป็นช่วงทดสอบ อาจจะไม่มี motion blur ได้
  • โหมต 2D จะมี 2x Anti Aliasing แต่พอเปิดแบบ 3D จะปิด 2xAA ไป

Jun Takuechi (ผู้พัฒนาเกม Resident Evil 5)เผยว่าตอนแรกที่ทำออกมายังไม่คิดเลยว่ามันจะได้ผลดีขนาดนี้

ข่าวเมื่อ 3 เดือนก่อน โซนี่ออกมาประกาศว่า ยอดขาย PSP จะแตะ 10 ล้านเครื่องทั่วโลกแล้ว

ในช่วงเวลาเดียวกัน นินเทนโดก็ออกมาเปิดเผยว่า NDS นั่น ยอดขายใกล้จะถึง 100 ล้านเครื่องทั่วโลกแล้วเช่นกัน...

โซนี่ออก PSP GO มา เพิ่อจะผลักดันการใช้งาน PSN โดยยอมทิ้ง UMD ที่ตัวเองดันมาเองกับมือ ใน PSP GO นี้... ร่วงไม่เป็นท่า

เดือนก่อน โซนี่เปิดเผยว่าจะมีการร่วมมือกับทาง โซนี่อีริคสัน เพื่อสร้าง PSP Phone โดยใช้แอนดรอยด์ (และเอนดรอยด์มาร์เก๊ต) ... จะทิ้ง PSN ที่ตัวเองผลักดันมากะมืออีกแระ...

ผมก็ไม่เข้าใจเหมือนกัน ว่าโซนี่เขามีวิสัยทรรศน์ยังไงอะนะ... แต่ PSP Phone นี่ ก็ดูท่าจะเป็นความหวังของโซนี่ และ โซนี่อีริคสันพอสมควร

แต่มาเจอ 3DS ของปู่นินแล้ว... รอดูกันต่อไป(ยาวๆ) แล้วกัน
