ไมโครซอฟท์โชว์ต้นแบบคีย์บอร์ด "Adaptive Keyboard"

ในงานแข่งขัน UIST (User Interface Software and Technology) Student Innovation Contest ไมโครซอฟท์ได้นำต้นแบบคีย์บอร์ดที่มีชื่อเรียกว่า "Adaptive Keyboard" มาให้นักศึกษาที่ลงแข่งขันทำอะไรก็ได้เพื่อการแข่งขันดังกล่าว

Adaptive Keyboard มีตัวแป้นพิมพ์ที่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนอักขระและสัญลักษณ์ได้ อาทิ ผู้ใช้สามารถเลือกภาษาที่จะแสดงผลบนแป้นพิมพ์ หรือผู้ใช้สามารถกดคีย์ลัดของ PowerPoint จากแป้นพิมพ์ได้โดยตรง เป็นต้น พร้อมทั้งจอภาพทัชสกรีนด้านบนแป้นพิมพ์ที่รองรับการทำงานได้หลายอย่าง อาทิ เป็นทางลัด (shortcut) เข้าถึงไฟล์ต่างๆ หรือสามารถเลือกดูสไลด์ PowerPoint ได้ เป็นต้น รายละเอียดที่เหลือลองดูได้จากวีดีโอที่ท้ายข่าว

ไมโครซอฟท์ยังย้ำในวีดีโอที่สองด้วยว่า ตัวอย่างที่แสดงในการนำเสนอนี้เพียงเป็นการทดลองเท่านั้น ไม่ได้มีนัยว่าไมโครซอฟท์จะทำออกมาขายจริงๆ แต่อย่างไร

เคยเห็นของ dell นะครับ รู้สึกเค้าจะไว้ใช้กับพวก server
ของ lenovo ก็มีครับ มาพร้อมกับ track point เลย แต่...ก็มากับราคาที่แรงใช่ย่อย (และหาซื้อยากในไทย)

เคยคิดโปรเจคใว้ในหัว (ได้แต่คิด ไม่มีปัญญาทำงะ) เป็นคีย์บอร์ดมัลติทัชสกรีน แบบหน้าสัมผัสเรียบทั้งบอร์ด ใช้เป็นแท็บเล็ทได้ เมาส์ได้ หรือ คีย์บอร์ดได้ สิ่งนี้แหละใกล้เคียงกับที่ผมคิดไว้เลย

คิดว่า ถ้าจะให้ interactive กับ user จริงๆควร ทำเป็น lcd touch screen ใหญ่ๆ (บางๆ)ไปเลยดีกว่าครับ...
... ไม่ควรยึดติดกับ outline ที่ เป็น keyboard layout มากไป
