ความน่ารำคาญอย่างหนึ่งของการอ่าน e-book คือหน้าจอที่ไม่ละเอียดพอที่จะอ่านโดยไม่ต้องซูมได้ โดยเฉพาะเมื่อเครื่องอ่าน e-book ทั้งหลายมีความละเอียดจำกัดมาก ในงาน CES ปีนี้ทาง Sprint ก็ลงมาเล่นตลาดนี้บ้างแล้ว ด้วยเครื่อง Skiff

Skiff คือเครื่องอ่าน e-book ขนาดหน้าจอ 11.5 นิ้่ว และมีความละเอียดสูงถึง 1600x1200 พิกเซล เหลือเฟือสำหรับการอ่านหนังสือ จุดเด่นนอกจากความละเอียดและจอขนาดใหญ่แล้วยังมีความสามารถ "งอ"ได้ด้วย แต่ข้อเสียที่ต้องแลกมาคือน้ำหนักถึง 500 กรัม

รองรับทั้ง Wi-Fi, USB, และแน่นอนว่ารองรับ 3G เพราะ Sprint มาเอง พื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลภายใน 3GB และใส่การ์ด SDHC เพิ่มได้

ราคาไม่แจ้ง และไม่บอกวันเริ่มจำหน่าย หวังว่าจะภายในปีนี้

ถ้าหนังสือ+นิตยาสาร เมืองไทยหันมาทำ e-book มากขึ้น ผมก็อยากจะซื้อนะครับ

หนักครึ่งโลไม่ใช่ปัญหาครับดีกว่าแบก notebook ไปนั่งอ่าน รอเครื่องอ่าน e-book แหล่มๆแบบนี้มานานละรอดูราคากันต่อไป
ไปดูในเว็บมัน The Skiff Reader, the first e-reader to integrate the upcoming Skiff Service
มาพร้อม skiff service ไม่ใช่จะเหมือน kindle เหรอเนี๊ยะ T_T อยากให้เป็นเหมือนเครื่อง sony มากกว่า เอา file จากข้างนอกยัดได้อิสระ

โอ้... ตามเทคโนโลยีไม่ทันจริงๆ e-ink คืออะไรหว่า?
แล้วมันจะทำให้มีภาพสีมั้ย หรือว่าต้องเป็นขาวดำล้วนอะครับ

ตอนนี้ยังไม่เจอ e-ink ที่มีสีเลยครับ แต่คิดว่ากำลังพัฒนากันอยู่

ลองค้นใน Tag E-ink ก็ได้นะครับ จำได้ว่าเคยมีข่าวอยู่

มี 3G แล้วกดอ่านหนังสือได้ตลอดเวลาก็เยี่ยมแล้วครับ ขอหน้าจอชัดแล้วก็ไม่กระพริบก็พอแล้ว

ตอนแรกว่าจะซื้อ NOOK ของ B&N
แต่สงสัยตอนนี้ต้องรอดูราคาของเจ้า Skiff ตัวนี้ก่อนแล้ว
นึกถึงหนังเรื่อง Minority Report เห็นอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์งอได้เคลื่อนไหวได้แบบนี้เลย
