Microsoft เตรียมปิดบริการแอปสแกนเอกสาร Microsoft Lens

ไมโครซอฟท์อัปเดตข้อมูลในหน้าสนับสนุน (Support) ว่าแอป Microsoft Lens ทั้งบน iOS และ Android จะเริ่มเข้าสู่สถานะปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ 15 กันยายน 2025 เป็นต้นไป โดยแอปจะหยุดการสนับสนุนตั้งแต่ 15 พฤศจิกายน ผู้ใช้งานยังสามารถใช้ฟังก์ชันการสแกนเอกสารต่อไปได้จนถึง 15 ธันวาคม 2025 ซึ่งหลังจากนั้นจะใช้ไม่ได้อีก

สำหรับเอกสารที่เคยสแกนเก็บไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ ไมโครซอฟท์บอกว่ายังสามารถเข้าถึงไฟล์เหล่านั้นได้ตราบที่แอปยังไม่ลบออกจากเครื่อง

ไมโครซอฟท์แนะนำให้ผู้ใช้งานเปลี่ยนมาใช้แอป Microsoft 365 Copilot แทน ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติการสแกนเอกสารเช่นกัน โดยไปที่ Create แล้วเลือก Scan

Microsoft Lens หรือชื่อเดิม Office Lens มีออกมาตั้งแต่ปี 2015 มีฟังก์ชันหลักคือการสแกนเอกสารเพื่อแปลงออกมาเป็นไฟล์

Microsoft Lens นี่ผมใช้ประจำเลยนะ พอเห็นข่าวนี้เลยต้องไปลองใช้ฟังก์ชัน scan ใน Copilot ลองแล้วก็โอเคอยู่ครับ เหมือนยกฟังก์ชันจาก Lens มาเลย

แต่ก็ก็ลงแยก Word, Excel, Powerpoint และ Lens
พอ Office (ชื่อเดิมของ Microsoft 365 Copilot) ออกมา มันรวมหมดเลยทั้ง Word, Excel, Powerpoint และ Lens แถมขนาด install เล็กกว่าเกือบ 3 เท่าที่เคยใช้ (ใหญ่กว่า 1 app นิดหน่อย) เลยลบและลงตัวเดียวจบเลย

หลักๆก็ใช้ตัวนี้ scan ก็โอเค ปรับสี contrast crop ลง pdf ได้ครบจบตัวเดียว

ลองใช้ใน M365 Copilot ก็โอเคดีนะ แต่ถ้าหน้าตาวิธีการใช้เหมือน lens จะอยู่ใน onedrive สแกนเหมือนใน lens เป๊ะเลย

ตัวนี้ปิดไปก็ไม่ค่อยเดือดร้อนเท่าไหร่ เคยลองใช้สแกนเอกสารแค่ 4-5 หน้าก็เลิกใช้แล้ว เทียบคุณภาพไฟล์กับ cam scanner ลูกเล่นการใช้งานส่วนประกอบ คุณภาพของผล camscanner กินขาด ยอมจ่ายเงินซื้อเรียบร้อยแล้วเจ้านี้ ตอนนั้นลอง app สแกนเอกสารเกินกว่า 10 ตัวสุดท้ายก็เจอตัวที่ดีที่สุดคือตัวนี้ก็เลยใช้มายาวๆเลย
