Overwatch League

หลังจากประสบชะตากรรมร่อแร่มานาน ในที่สุด Blizzard ก็ประกาศว่า Overwatch League ในโมเดลแบบปัจจุบันไม่เวิร์คแล้ว และจะแปลงรูปแบบการแข่งขันเป็นอย่างอื่นที่ยังไม่ระบุว่าเป็นอย่างไร แต่จะแชร์รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมในเร็วๆ นี้

Overwatch League เริ่มแข่งขันครั้งแรกช่วงต้นปี 2018 โดยใช้ระบบคล้ายลีกกีฬา นั่นคือมีทีมประจำเมืองใหญ่ทั่วโลกเพื่อสร้างฐานแฟนๆ ในเมืองนั้น อย่างไรก็ตาม ด้วยปัญหาเงินลงทุนของทีมที่สูงมาก (ค่าสมัครทีมละ 20 ล้านดอลลาร์ในฤดูกาลแรก ช่วงหลังราคาพุ่งสูงถึง 60 ล้านดอลลาร์), ปัญหา COVID ทำให้จัดแข่งในสนามไม่ได้ ขายตั๋วไม่ได้, ความนิยมในเกม Overwatch เองที่ลดลง และสปอนเซอร์ถอนตัวเพราะปัญหาคุกคามทางเพศภายในบริษัท Blizzard ทำให้ลีกสามารถแข่งมาได้เพียง 6 ฤดูกาล จบที่ฤดูกาล 2023 แข่งเสร็จเดือนตุลาคม 2023 โดยแชมป์ทีมสุดท้ายคือ Florida Mayhem

ผมเล่นภาค 2 ยังไงมันก็ไม่สนุกจริงๆแหละ ความเป็นทีมมันหายไปหมดเลย

ส่วนตัวนะครับ เล่นมาตั้งแต่ open beta รู้สึกทั้งดีใจและเสียใจที่ลีกปิดตัว แต่โดยรวมดีใจมากกว่าครับ
-สมัยก่อนมี ow league นี่ เกมสนุกมาก ความ op แต่ละตัว รองรับผู้เล่นระดับทั่วไป เล่นได้สนุก ไม่เก่งก็เล่นเอาฮาได้บ้าง
-พอมีระบบลีก แล้ว nerf-buff ปรับ meta ไปเรื่อยๆ จนเล่นแล้วไม่สนุก แต่เพื่อความไม่โกงของ pro player จึงต้องทำ
-พอเป็น ow2 ปรับ เหลือ 5 คน tank จาก 2 เหลือ 1 ตำแหน่ง (เพราะ ow1 มีdouble shield แล้ว OP) เล่นไม่สนุกละทีนี้ ไม่มีคนยืนหน้าด้วย ต้องtank เหงาๆ ไปคนเดียว
