Lenovo ประกาศ ThinkPad และ ThinkStation เกือบทุกรุ่นจะมีเวอร์ชัน Ubuntu

ก่อนหน้านี้ Lenovo ประกาศว่าโน้ตบุ๊ก ThinkPad ซีรีส์ P และเดสก์ท็อป ThinkStation รองรับลินุกซ์ (เลือกได้เป็น RHEL/Ubuntu) แต่ยังจำกัดช่องทางการขายเฉพาะผ่านการสั่งซื้อแบบองค์กรเท่านั้น

ล่าสุด Lenovo ประกาศขยายรุ่นของสินค้าที่รองรับลินุกซ์ ให้ครอบคลุม ThinkPad เกือบทุกรุ่น ซึ่งรวมถึงซีรีส์ขวัญใจมหาชนทั้ง T, X, L และตัวแพงแบบ X1 ด้วย โดยเกือบทุกรุ่นสามารถสั่งซื้อผ่านหน้าเว็บ Lenovo.com แบบพรีโหลด Ubuntu 20.04 LTS มาได้เลย (ยกเว้นซีรีส์ L จะได้เป็น 18.04)

ThinkPad ที่พรีโหลด Ubuntu จะเริ่มวางขายทั่วโลก (global expansion) ในเดือนกันยายน และทยอยขยายให้ครบทุกรุ่นที่ประกาศไว้ตลอดปี 2021

ดีเลยนะ แต่ส่วนตัวถ้าได้ซื้อ ยังไงก็ต้องซื้อรุ่น Windows แหะๆ

ปล. ว่าแต่สินค้าของ Lenovo อย่างเช่น ThinkPad X1 เนี่ย รอบเปลี่ยนรุ่นเค้าประมาณเดือนไหนครับ แอบอยากได้ของแพงแบบลดราคากับเค้ามั่ง หรืออย่าง 11.11 นี่มีลดบ้างรึเปล่าฮะ

  • เรื่องส่วนลดจากที่เฝ้าๆมาซักพัก ผมแนะว่า เข้าไปดูบ่อยๆดีกว่าครับ บางจังหวะจะได้ส่วนลดเยอะกว่า 9.9 11.11 ครับ

ThinkPad ปกติจะเปิดตัว CES เดือนมกราคมครับ (โดยใช้ซีพียูอินเทลของปีก่อน ที่มักเปิดราวๆ ก.ย.) แต่ของขายจริงเมื่อไรก็อีกเรื่องนึง อย่างปีนี้ก็ขายช้าหน่อย
