Xiaomi ส่งแถลงการณ์ชี้แจงเหตุผู้ใช้ Xiaomi Mijia Smart IP Security Camera ที่เชื่อมต่อกับ Google Home Hub กลับเห็นภาพจากกล้องวงจรปิดคนอื่น โดยระบุว่าเกิดจากการปรับปรุงระบบแคชเพื่อเพิ่มคุณภาพการสตรีม แต่เกิดความผิดพลาดจนทำให้เกิด race condition และมีการส่งภาพไปยังบัญชีผู้ใช้ผิดคน

ผู้ใช้ที่เชื่อมต่อบริการจนเข้าข่ายทีมั้งหมด 1,044 คน โดยเป็นผู้ใช้ที่ใช้งานผ่าน Google Home Hub และเชื่อมต่อผ่านเน็ตเวิร์คที่คุณภาพไม่ดี โดยมีผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจริงๆ จำนวนน้อยมาก (แต่ไม่ระบุจำนวนชัดเจน) ส่วนผู้ใช้ผ่านแอป Mi Home ไม่ได้รับผลกระทบ

แถลงระบุว่าตอนนี้แก้ไขปัญหาแล้ว แต่ยังหยุดให้บริการไปก่อนจนกว่าจะพบต้นต่อทั้งหมด เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าจะไม่ผิดพลาดซ้ำอีก

ผมก็ใช้กล้องของ Mi อยู่บ้าง

ผมก็ใช้กล้องของ Mi อยู่บ้าง ก็รู้สึกเสียวๆเหมือนกัน เพราะทุกอย่างฝากความหวังไว้กับ cloud ของ mi เลย
ในขณะที่กล้องอีกชุดที่บ้าน ใช้ HikVision จะมี cloud ก็แค่ทำตัวเหมือน dns คือต่อให้ cloud เจ๊งไป ก็ยังพอวิ่งตรงไปหา IP ของที่บ้านได้อยู่

หมายถึงคนที่มี setup ของกล้อง Mi กับ Nest Hub ร่วมกันทั้งหมดหรือเปล่า จำนวน 1,044 คนเนี้ย แต่คนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจริงๆ คือคนที่เน็ตห่วย ซึ่งก็มีเพียงแค่ไม่กี่คนเท่านั้นนะ
