ซัมซุงเปิดตัวชิป Exynos 9825 ที่ปรับมาใช้เทคโนโลยีการผลิต 7 นาโนเมตร EUV หลังจากก่อนนี้ Exynos 9820 ใช้เทคโนโลยี 8 นาโนเมตรที่ด้อยกว่า Qualcomm อยู่บ้าง

เว็บซัมซุงบอกข้อมูลสเปคไม่มากนัก บอกเพียงเป็นชิป 8 คอร์ มี M4 ของซัมซุงเอง 2 คอร์, Cortex-A75 2 คอร์, และ Cortex-A55 อีก 4 คอร์ กราฟิกเป็น Mali-G76 รองรับแรม LPDDR4x หน้าจอรองรับสองขนาดคือ 3840x2400 พิกเซล และ 4096x2160 พิกเซล

รองรับกล้องหลังสูงสุด 22 ล้านพิกเซล หรือกล้องสองตัวตัวละ 16 ล้านพิกเซล อัดวิดีโอได้ถึง 8K ที่ 30 เฟรมต่อวินาที หากอัดที่ 4K ได้ถึง 150 เฟรมต่อวินาที

ซัมซุงเปิดข้อมูลชิป Exynos 9825 นี้ออกมาก่อนงาน UNPACKED ที่ใช้เปิดตัว Galaxy Note เพียงวันเดียว ก็น่าจะเป็นชิปใน Note ตัวต่อไป

แปลกใจตั้งแต่ตอนเปิดตัว S10 เมื่อต้นปีแล้ว ที่ทุกค่ายใช้ cpu ของปีนี้เป็น 7nm เหมือนกันหมด (สองปีที่แล้ว 10nm) แต่ทำไม ss ถึง indy ออกเป็น 8nm ซะได้

เพราะ 7nm ของ Samsung เริ่มที่ EUV เลยครับ ต่างจาก TSMC ที่เริ่ม UV ก่อนแล้วค่อยมา EUV ใน 7nm+

ซึ่งถ้าข่าว 9825 เป็น node Samsung 7nm จริง ก็แสดงว่าใช้ node EUV ละครับ ถือว่านำตัวอื่นไปก้าวนึง จนกว่ามือถือที่ใช้ SD865(ที่น่าจะมากับ TSMC 7nm+ EUV) จะวางขายนั่นแหละ

แสดงว่า 7nm ที่ใช้ UV ไม่น่าจะมีประสิทธิภาพต่างจาก 8 nm ที้ใช้ EUV ถ้าดึงประสิทธิภาพเทคนิคออกมาได้สุด

UV ยาวกว่า EUV อยู่เยอะะะ
