Take Two Interactive และ Rockstar Games เปิดเผยว่าเกม Red Dead Redemption 2 สามารถสร้างสถิติ ยอดขาย 3 วันแรกสร้างรายได้ทะลุ 725 ล้านดอลลาร์ ถือเป็นสื่อบันเทิง (ไม่ใช่เฉพาะแค่เกม) ที่เปิดตัวแล้วสร้างรายได้สูงสุดเป็นอันดับ 2 ตลอดกาล (อันดับหนึ่งคือ GTA V จากค่ายเดียวกัน ที่กวาดรายได้เกิน 1 พันล้านดอลลาร์ภายใน 3 วัน)

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) ในฐานะเจ้าของแพลตฟอร์ม PS4 ยังให้ข้อมูลเสริมว่า Red Dead Redemption 2 ก็ทำลายสถิติหลายอย่างบน PlayStation Network เช่นกัน ตั้งแต่ยอดขายวันแรกสูงสุด, ยอดขาย 3 วันแรกสูงสุด, ยอดพรีออเดอร์ล่วงหน้าสูงสุด เป็นต้น

นอกจากประเด็นเรื่องยอดขายแล้ว Red Dead Redemption 2 ยังได้รับคะแนนรีวิวในระดับที่สูงมาก หลายเว็บไซต์ เช่น IGN, Game Informer, The Guardian ให้คะแนนเต็ม และคะแนนรีวิวเฉลี่ย metacritic อยู่ที่ 97%

ผมไม่ใช่แฟนเกมแนวนี้เลย GTA V ก็เล่นนิดๆหน่อยๆ ไม่ค่อยชอบ

แต่ RDR2 นี่ซื้อเพราะกระแสมันแรงมาก เลยลองจัดมาดู

ก็ต้องบอกตามตรงว่าเกมมันสุดยอดจริงๆ นับถือทีมสร้างนะ เกมมันละเอียด ปราณีต สวยงาม เต็มอารมณ์มากๆ

คือไม่รู้จะติตรงไหนเลย Masterpieces สุดๆ พวก Open world เกมอื่นเทียบลำบากเลย คือมันพอดีๆ ไม่เลี่ยน ไม่น่าเบื่อ มีอะไรให้แปลกใจตลอดๆ

ผมแนะนำเลยว่าต้องหามาเล่นจริงๆครับ

ชอบการจัดแสงแบบภาพยนต์ ที่ไม่ใช่แค่ในคัดซีน แต่ในขณะเล่นเลย ไม่ค่อยได้เห็นอะไรแบบนี้ในเกมโอเพ่นเวิล กับพวกดีเทลเล็กๆน้อยๆหลายอย่าง เช่นเวลาเราทำอะไรกับ NPC คนไหนไว้ แล้วมันดันจำได้ แม้กระทั่งหมา ยังจำเราได้ ...
มีตินิดหน่อยเรื่องระบบคอมแบท ที่มันอืดๆไปนิด แต่ก็โอเค

ผมคงเป็นชนกลุ่มน้อยที่ไม่ค่อยปลื้มการเล่นเกมนี้เท่าไหร่
ยอมรับว่าทุกอย่างทำมาดีมาก ความสวย ความละเอียดของสิ่งต่างๆ
แต่ด้วยความที่มัน slow life มาก
ผมเล่นแล้วหลับคาจอยไปสองรอบ เลิกเลย กลับมากด diablo 3 nsw แล้วรู้สึกติดหนึบกว่ามาก
