ซัมซุงได้ร่วมมือกับกูเกิล เปิดตัว Chromebook Pro และ Chromebook Plus แล็บท้อปแบบพันได้ (Convertible Laptop) รัน Chrome OS เวอร์ชันที่มาพร้อมกับ Google Play พร้อมรองรับปากกา สำหรับการใช้งานที่หลากหลายขึ้น

ภายนอกของ Chromebook Pro และ Chromebook Plus เหมือนกันทุกประการ ซึ่งมาพร้อมหน้าจอ LED ขนาด 12.3 นิ้ว ความละเอียด QHD (2400×1600) แรม LPDDR3 ขนาด 4GB หน่วยความจำ eMMC ขนาด 32GB พร้อมพอร์ต microSD และ USB-C 2 พอร์ต พอร์ตหูฟัง 1 พอร์ต แบตเตอรีขนาด 39 Wh น้ำหนักประมาณ 1.08 กก. และ Accelero Meter และ Gyro ภายใน

ส่วนที่แตกต่างกันคือชิปเซ็ต โดยรุ่น Chromebook Plus ใช้ชิปเซ็ตที่ทำขึ้นมาเฉพาะ 6 แกน (ARM Cortex-A72 2 แกนและ A52 4 แกน) ส่วน Chromebook Pro ใช้ Intel Core M3 6Y30 กราฟิคเป็น Intel HD Graphic 515
