ไมโครซอฟท์ปล่อย Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586 แล้ว

ไมโครซอฟท์ปล่อย Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586 ให้กับสมาชิกโครงการ Windows Insider Program กลุ่ม Fast ring แล้ว คาดว่ารุ่นนี้เป็นรุ่นที่จะปล่อยเป็นอัพเดตใหญ่สู่สาธารณะ รวมถึง Lumia 950 และ Lumia 950 XL ที่จะวางขายในเดือนหน้า โดยเน้นการปรับปรุงระบบให้เสถียรมากขึ้นและแก้บั๊กต่างๆ ดังนี้

  • ปรับปรุงแอพข้อความและ Skype
  • สลับแอพได้เร็วขึ้น จะไม่ค่อยเห็นข้อความ "resuming" หรือ "loading" แล้ว
  • ดาวน์โหลดแอพและเกมจาก Store ได้ดีขึ้น
  • แก้บั๊กหน้า Start ใช้งานไม่ได้หลังจากกู้คืนข้อมูลจากมือถือที่มีความละเอียดหน้าจอไม่เท่ากัน
  • แก้บั๊กตำแหน่งที่ตั้งในการบันทึกข้อมูลไม่ตรงตามที่เราตั้งค่าไว้
  • การย้ายแอพไปที่ SD card จะไม่ทำให้แอพแครชแล้ว
  • ปุ่มกล้องบนมือถือใช้งานได้แล้ว

แต่ยังมีบั๊ก (known issue) อยู่เล็กน้อย ดังนี้

  • สำหรับผู้ใช้ Build 10581 จะมีบั๊กที่ทำให้ไฟล์ระบบมีปัญหาหลังจากรีเซ็ตมือถือ (factory reset) ซึ่งการอัพเดตเป็น Build 10586 จะทำให้มือถือวนลูปที่หน้าโลโก้ Windows จึงควรสำรองข้อมูลก่อนอัพเดตแล้วรีเซ็ตมือถือโดยใช้ปุ่มฮาร์ดแวร์ หรือจะใช้ Windows Device Recovery Tool ย้อนกลับไปเป็น Windows Phone 8.1 แล้วอัพเดตมาเป็น Build 10586
  • แอพที่พัฒนาโดยใช้ Silverlight จาก Visual Studio จะยังทำงานไม่ได้ ปัญหานี้จะแก้ใน Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 ในวันที่ 30 พ.ย.
  • แอพ Insider Hub ถูกถอดออกไป

know issue => known issue

known issue 3 อย่างใน build นี้

  • deploy Silverligth ยังไม่ได้ ต้องรอ the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 on Nov. 30th (แต่ UWP ทำงานได้ปกติ นักพัฒนาก็ย้ายๆ ไป UWP นะครับ ;) )
  • Insider Hub ใช้ไม่ได้เพราะไม่ได้ใส่มา (ก็ ถ้ามันคือตัวจริงตาม Windows 10 ที่ปล่อยให้คนทั่วไปก็คงไม่ต้องใส่มา)
  • อันที่กล่าวไปแล้วในข่าว ซึ่งจริงๆ เป็นบั๊กจาก build 10581 ที่เวลา HR แล้ว file system จะพัง แต่พังแบบไม่เห็นผลบน 10581 แต่พออัพมา 10586 แล้วจะติด boot loop ซึ่งถ้าไม่เคย HR ตอนอยู่ 10581 ก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร (ผมเลยรอดแบบไม่รู้ตัว) เค้าแนะนำให้ backup ก่อนอัพเดตเพื่อความมั่นใจ (ซึ่งผมตั้ง auto อยู่แล้ว)

เท่ากับว่า known issue ใน build นี้ไม่มีผลในการใช้งานปกติเลย

build หลัง ๆ มานี่เรียกว่าใช้งานในชีวิตประจำวันจริง ๆ ได้แล้วครับ
