Dell ประเทศไทยเปิดตัวโซลูชั่นและสถาปัตยกรรมเซิร์ฟเวอร์ PowerEdge FX

วันนี้ทาง Dell ประเทศไทยจัดงานประชุมคู่ค้าที่กรุงเทพ และในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ได้เปิดตัวโซลูชั่นและสถาปัตยกรรมของเซิร์ฟเวอร์ตัวล่าสุดของ Dell ในประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ ที่มีชื่อว่า PowerEdge FX

กล่าวให้ง่ายที่สุด PowerEdge FX คือ chassis enclosure ขนาด 2U ที่อยู่ในรูปของ rack และมีโมดูลต่างๆ ให้ถอดเปลี่ยนและเสียบได้ตามความต้องการ (ถ้านึกไม่ออก ให้ลองนึกถึง blade) ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเซิร์ฟเวอร์, การ์ดแบบ PCI, โมดูลเครือข่าย และอื่นๆอีกจำนวนมาก อีกทั้งยังมี KVM ในตัวให้ด้วย โดยผู้ดูแลระบบสามารถทำการควบคุมผ่านเว็บได้ และถ้าในอนาคตต้องการเพิ่มเครื่อง สามารถกำหนดให้ได้ทั้งเป็น stack และ Primary/secondary ได้อีกด้วย เพื่อเพิ่มความสะดวกในการบริหารและจัดการ

วางจำหน่ายแล้ววันนี้สำหรับ PowerEdge FX ที่มาพร้อมกับโมดูลเซิร์ฟเวอร์ FC630 หรือ FM120x4 ส่วนตัวอื่นๆ เช่น FD332, FN, IOA, FC430, FC830 จะวางจำหน่ายภายในครึ่งปีแรกของปีครับ ใครสนใจสามารถไปสั่งได้

ถามหน่อยคับ พวกคอมแบนๆแบบนี้ พอพ่วงกันก็เหมือนเอาคอมบ้านมาต่อ lan กันรึปล่าว หรือรวมร่างแบบหุ่นจูเรนเจอร์ คือ 100 cpu ก็กลายเป็น 100 core งี้

ทำได้ทั้งหมดแหละครับ แต่เขาออกแบบมาแบบนี้เพื่อสะดวกต่อการ maintain พวก server tower แบบเครื่อง pc ก็น่าจะทำได้เหมือนกัน

ผมว่าปิดๆ ไปเถอะครับ เดลล์น่ะ เปลี่ยนนโยบายจากการขายตรง มาเป็นขายผ่านดีลเลอร์ อยากบอกว่า ฆ่าตัวตายชัดๆ

ผมขอใบเสนอราคาจากดีลเลอร์ของเดลล์บริษัทนึง(แค่หาในกูเกิลก็เจอเลย) จะซื้อ Dell PowerEdge VRTX งบประมาณ 300,000 บาท++ เมื่อ 2 สัปดาห์ที่แล้วจนบัดนี้ยังไม่ได้ใบเสนอราคาเลย แถมตอนสอบถามเข้าไปมีงงและถามกลับลูกค้าว่า มันคืออะไร?? บ่งบอกถึงความสนใจในการขายของของเดลล์มากเลยนะครับ...

สมัยซื้อตรงผมขอใบเสนอราคาแปบเดียว ก็สั่งซื้อขายกันได้แล้ว ต่อรองกันง่าย ปิดดีลไว

เห็นด้วยเลยครับ ปีงบฯ ที่ผ่านมา บริษัทจะสั่งซื้อคอมใหม่ เคยสั่งตรงจากเดลแต่ตอนนี้ต้องผ่านดีลเลอร์

ขอใบเสนอราคาไปตอนนี้ผ่านไปจะครึ่งปีแล้วยังไม่ได้เลยครับ

สุดท้ายเลยได้ Lenovo มาแทน -_-"
