ไมโครซอฟท์เปิดตัว RemoteIE ให้เข้าใช้เบราว์เซอร์บน Windows 10 บน Azure

ไมโครซอฟท์เริ่มเปิดบริการ Remote.IE ให้นักพัฒนาสามารถทดสอบเบราว์เซอร์รุ่นล่าสุดที่ไมโครซอฟท์กำลังพัฒนาโดยไม่ต้องติดตั้งหรือดาวน์โหลดอิมเมจมารันเอง แต่เชื่อมต่อเข้าไปยัง Azure เพื่อทดสอบหน้าเว็บได้ทันที

เบราว์เซอร์ที่รันบน RemoteIE จะเหมือนของจริงทุกประการ ยกเว้น WebGL ที่จะใช้ซอฟต์แวร์ไม่มีฮาร์ดแวร์เร่งความเร็วเหมือนที่เราใช้งานบนเครื่องจริง ส่วนการเรียกใช้สามารถเรียกใช้ผ่าน RemoteApp ที่รันได้จากทั้ง วินโดวส์, แมค, iOS, และแอนดรอยด์

ใช้งานได้ครั้งละ 60 นาที และจะถูกตัดการเชื่อมต่อเมื่อหยุดใช้งานไปแล้วสิบนาที หากคนใช้งานมากอาจจะต้องรอคนอื่นใช้งานเสร็จ แต่ไม่มีกำหนดว่าจะเข้าใช้งานได้กี่รอบ

ผมเล่นไม่ถึง 60 นาทีแฮะ ผล

  • render ค่อนข้างช้า ย่อ/ขยายข้อความทำได้ช้ากว่า IE บนเครื่องนิดหน่อย แต่ช้ากว่าพวก Chrome/Firefox มาก
  • ผมเลือกโซน Asia เหมือนเซิฟเวอร์จะอยู่ญี่ปุ่น เพราะเข้า google.com แล้วเด้งไป google.co.jp (นายคิดอย่างที่ชั้นคิดไหม B1)
  • ไม่มีการเก็บ cookies เว็บไหนใช้ cookies เป็นส่วนประกอบหลัก แทบเล่นไม่ได้
  • ไม่สามารถเข้าถึง Internet Options ได้
  • หลังจากออก เข้ากลับไปใหม่ bookmarks หาย
  • ไม่สามารถดาวโหลดไฟล์ได้
  • เหมือนจะเล่นคลิปบน Youtube (HTML5) ไม่ได้

ป.ล. ตอนไม่เข้า Insider Program มี app พวก Excel 2013, Word 2013, Paint เข้ามาด้วย แต่พอเข้าร่วมปุ๊บ เหลือแต่ IE อย่างเดียว
