Western Digital บอกฮาร์ดดิสก์ที่ผลิตปี 2026 ถูกจองซื้อไปเกือบหมดแล้ว

Irving Tan ซีอีโอของ Western Digital ให้ข้อมูลในงานแถลงผลประกอบการไตรมาส 4/2025 บอกว่าฮาร์ดดิสก์ที่จะผลิตได้ในปี 2026 ถูกซื้อล่วงหน้าไปเกือบหมดแล้ว (we’re pretty much sold out for calendar 2026)

ปัจจุบันสัดส่วนฮาร์ดดิสก์ตลาดคอนซูเมอร์ของ Western Digital ลดเหลือเพียง 5% ของฮาร์ดดิสก์ทั้งหมด อีก 6% เป็นผู้ผลิตพีซี (client) ในขณะที่ลูกค้าคลาวด์มีสัดส่วนสูงถึง 89% เรียกได้ว่าถ้าเลิกขายฮาร์ดดิสก์ให้คอนซูเมอร์ บริษัทก็อยู่ได้สบายๆ

ลูกค้ารายใหญ่ที่สุดของ WD จำนวน 7 บริษัท ออกใบคำสั่งซื้อ (PO) ฮาร์ดดิสก์ของปี 2026 แล้ว มี 2 รายสั่งของปี 2027 แล้ว และมี 1 รายสั่งยาวไปจนถึงปี 2028 แล้วด้วย
