Cisco เปิดตัว Cisco 8223 เราเตอร์ที่ใช้ชิปรุ่นใหม่ Silicon One P200 เพื่อรองรับการส่งข้อมูลจำนวนมากสำหรับงานด้าน AI แบนด์วิธสูงสุด 51.2 Tbps รองรับการเชื่อมต่อในสเกลระดับข้ามศูนย์ข้อมูล ให้ทำงานเหมือนเป็นหนึ่งศูนย์ข้อมูล

Cisco 8223 ยังรองรับความหนาแน่นพอร์ตสูงสุดที่มีมา 64 พอร์ต 800G ในเครื่องขนาด 3RU ทำให้มีประสิทธิภาพในการจัดการพลังงาน มีสองรุ่นย่อยที่ใช้สาย OSFP และ QSFP รวมถึงมีความสามารถในการจัดการเข้ารหัสข้อมูลระดับควอนตัม สามารถจัดการทราฟิกขนาดใหญ่ที่เกิดจากการฝึกฝน AI อย่างยืดหยุ่นโดยไม่ต้องเปลี่ยนฮาร์ดแวร์

Cisco 8223 รองรับการทำงานบนระบบปฏิบัติการโอเพนซอร์ส SONiC ในช่วงแรก โดยจะรองรับ IOS XR ในแผนงานอนาคต
