บั๊กอีกแล้ว? - ผู้ใช้ iOS 17.5 พบปัญหารูปเก่าที่ลบไปเป็นปี กลับมาโผล่ใน Photos อีกครั้ง

มีรายงานจากผู้ใช้งาน iPhone ที่อัปเดตระบบปฏิบัติการเป็นเวอร์ชันล่าสุด iOS 17.5 ซึ่งออกมาเมื่อวันอังคาร พบปัญหารูปภาพที่เคยลบไปหลายปีก่อน กลับมาปรากฎใน Photos อีกครั้งหลังจากอัปเดต และพบรูปเหล่านี้กลับมาปรากฎใน iPad ด้วยเช่นกัน

ความเห็นจากใน Reddit มีคนพบปัญหาคล้ายกัน กรณีหนึ่งมีรูป 4 รูป ที่ถ่ายไว้ตั้งแต่ปี 2010 เก็บบน iCloud ซึ่งลบแล้วก็กลับมาแสดงใหม่อยู่หลายครั้ง เรื่องนี้ไม่ใช่ประเด็นเกี่ยวกับโฟลเดอร์ Recently Deleted ที่เก็บภาพหลังลบไปแล้ว 30 วัน จึงลบถาวร แต่เป็นรูปที่ลบไปเมื่อนานกว่านั้นระดับหลายเดือนหรือหลายปี ปัญหาดังกล่าวจึงถูกตั้งคำถามเกี่ยวกับการจัดการความเป็นส่วนตัว และระยะเวลาที่รูปยังถูกเก็บในอุปกรณ์หรือใน iCloud

แอปเปิลยังไม่ได้ออกมาให้ความเห็นในปัญหาดังกล่าว แต่ผู้ใช้งานบางคนเดาว่า iOS 17.5 ได้ปรับวิธี index ไลบรารีของรูปภาพ จึงเป็นไปได้ว่ารูปที่ถูกลบไปแล้วแต่ยังมีข้อมูลใน index จึงกลับมาแสดงได้อีกครั้ง
