Raspberry Pi Foundation ออกมายืนยันปัญหาหลังมีผู้พบว่า Raspberry Pi 4 ใช้งานไม่ได้หากใช้สาย USB-C บางประเภทเป็นตัวให้พลังงานไฟฟ้า โดยกรณีที่พบปัญหาชัดเจนคือการใช้สาย USB-C แบบเดียวกับที่ชาร์จ MacBook นั่นคือสายแบบ Electronically Marked

Raspberry Pi 4 เป็นรุ่นแรกที่รองรับ USB-C สำหรับรับพลังงานไฟฟ้า

สาเหตุเกิดจากการตั้งค่าของบอร์ดบน Pi 4 ที่จะมองสายชาร์จดังกล่าวเป็นสายสัญญาณเสียง จึงไม่รับการจ่ายพลังงานไฟฟ้าเข้ามาทำให้อุปกรณ์ไม่ทำงานนั่นเอง ทั้งนี้ปัญหาดังกล่าวไม่สร้างความเสียหายแก่อุปกรณ์

Raspberry Pi Foundation บอกว่าปัญหานี้จะถูกแก้ไขใน Pi 4 รุ่นที่จะออกมาในอนาคต แต่แนวทางแก้ไขเบื้องต้นคือใช้สาย USB-C ที่ไม่ใช่แบบ Electronically Marked หรือเพิ่มตัวเชื่อมต่อ USB-C เข้าไปอีกตัว (รายละเอียด)

แต่แปลกใจตรงที่ไหงมันแก้ด้วย software ไม่ได้ ปัญหาถึงขั้น hardware เลยรึนี้

ไม่มีหน่วยงานคุมคุณภาพครับ ไม่เหมือน Wi-Fi ที่ต้องรับรอง ตัวมาตรฐาน 802.11b, 802.11ax อะไรพวกนั้นคือมาตรฐานเปล่า แต่จะใช้ว่า "รองรับ Wi-Fi" นี่ต้องไปทดสอบกับ Wi-Fi Alliance

๊USB นี่มีแต่เอกสารเปล่าๆ ให้อิมพลีเมนต์กันเองเลย เพิ่งมีโครงการทดสอบเมื่อต้นปี ที่ไม่ได้ใช้เรื่องโลโก้ แต่บังคับที่ชิปเลย (ต้นทุนเพิ่ม หลายคนไม่ยอมใช้อีก)

คุณภาพตามราคาครับ พ่อค้าคนกลางก็เที่ยวกว้านซื้อมาขายต่อก็โก่งราคาไกลสุดกู่ โมดูลก็แพงมาก ตอนนี้ touch screen 7" (official) จากที่ทัชเพี้ยนก็เปิดไม่ได้แล้ว เหมือนเป็นของเล่นมากกว่าจะใช้งานจริงจัง

ผมเบิ้ลเงินอีกเท่าตัวซื้อบอร์ด atom ปัญหาน้อยกว่าเยอะ ติดอยู่เรื่องเดียวคือกินไฟไม่ต่ำกว่า 2A (5V, full load)

กินไฟโหดมากครับ แค่ 1A

ใช้ Pi บอร์ดไหนๆ ผมก็ว่า "ขี่ช้างจับตั๊กแตน" ครับ

Sync NTP ESP8266 C code แค่ประมาณ 100 บรรทัดครับ ไม่ได้ยากเย็นอะไร

เอาที่ใกล้มือผมที่สุดคงจะเป็น esp8266 แต่โมดูล real time clock ต้องใช้จากภายนอกครับ เพราะ esp มันเพี้ยน เบอร์ DS3232 จะเดินเที่ยงตรงกว่า DS1307 หมั่น sync เอาครับ
