เมื่องาน Computex AMD เปิดตัว Ryzen รุ่นที่สาม โดยมี Ryzen 9 3900X รุ่น 12 คอร์/24 เธร็ดเป็นซีพียูตัวท็อปสุด

วันนี้ซีพียู 12 คอร์กลายเป็นซีพียูตัวรองไปแล้ว (ตามคาด) เพราะ AMD เปิดตัว Ryzen 9 3950X เพิ่มเป็น 16 คอร์ 32 เธร็ดออกมา เน้นตลาดเกมมิ่งโดยเฉพาะ

Ryzen 9 3950X มีคล็อคเริ่มต้น 3.5GHz บูสต์ไปได้ถึง 4.7GHz (AMD โอเวอร์คล็อคโชว์ได้สูงสุดที่ 5.375GHz), อัตรา TDP ยังเป็น 105 วัตต์เท่ากับ 3900X ส่วนราคาก็กระโดดไปไกลหน่อยคือจาก 499 ดอลลาร์ไปเป็น 749 ดอลลาร์ (ประมาณ 24,000 บาท) เริ่มวางขายเดือนกันยายน 2019

ราคาขนาดนี้ของ intel ได้ตัว 8 core เองครับ แต่ก็ต้องดู benchmark กันอีกที ถ้าประสิทธิภาพออกมาดีอย่างที่มันควรจะเป็นราคานี้ถือว่านวัตกรรมเลยครับ

AMD ขาย 3900X ถูกจนดู 3950X แพงมากกว่าครับ

3600X -> 3800X = +$150 (ได้ L3 เท่าเดิมด้วย)
แต่ 3800X => 3900X + แค่ $100 (ทั้งๆที่ได้ L3 x2)

แถม CPU bin 3950X นี่น่าจะต้องคัดมาแล้วอย่างน้อย 2 รอบ {bin 3600?(6corefunctional) -> -> bin 3700X/3800X(8coregoodleakage/8coregoodperf) -> bin 3950X(8core+bestleakage+bestperf)} พูดง่ายๆคือจะทำ 3950X ได้นี่ต้องเป็น CPU โครตหัวกะทิเลยครับ

ดู spec เจ๋งดี น่าสนสำหรับคนที่กำลังเล็ง hi-end gaming pc ล่ะนะ

แต่อยากดูว่า เล่นเกมชนะ i9-9900k@5GHz ไหม? เพราะ core เยอะแต่ถ้าเล่นเกมได้ไม่ดี ก็ไม่มีประโยชน์ ยกเว้นสายทำงาน render/encoding นี่มีเฮ (ถ้าโปรแกรมที่ใช้เป็นหลัก support)
