นักเรียนในรัฐมิชิแกนทุกคนจะได้รับแจกไอพ็อดฟรี?

พรรคเดโมแครตได้เสนอแผนงบประมาณจำนวน 38 ล้านดอลลาร์ ซื้อเครื่องเล่นเอ็มพีสาม เพื่อเป็น "เครื่องมือในการเรียนรู้" ให้กับนักเรียนทุกคนในรัฐมิชิแกน

เรื่องนี้ไม่ใช่เรื่องใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัย Duke เคยแจกไอพ็อดให้กับนักศึกษาใหม่ของตัวเองทั้งมหาวิทยาลัยมาแล้ว ปัจจุบันไอพ็อดได้กลายมาเป็นเครื่องมือในการศึกษาไปในตัว เช่น การอัดเสียงเลกเชอร์ หรือเอาไว้เป็นไดรว์สำหรับเก็บไฟล์ เป็นต้น (ข่าวมหาวิทยาลัย Duke) นอกจากไอพ็อดแล้วก็เคยมีแจก PSP เช่นกัน (ข่าว PSP)

โครงการเครื่องเล่นเอ็มพีสามนี้มีวิธีหางบประมาณโดยการขึ้นภาษีอาหาร, เครื่องดื่มหรือทีวีผ่านดาวเทียม เลยได้รับการต่อต้านจากหนังสือพิมพ์ในรัฐอย่าง Detroit News

ถึงอัดไ่่ม่ได้ก็ฟังเลกเชอร์ ได้ครับ ก็บันทึกเสียงตอนอาจารยเลกเชอร์แหละครับ พอสอนเสร็จอาจารย์เขาก็เอาไปลง podcast ให้เด็กดาวน์โหลดกันเอง พวกสไลด์บางวิชาก็เป็น video podcast กันไปเลย

ไม่เห็นด้วย เพราะแต่ละคนมี taste ต่างกัน แต่ถ้าให้เลือกได้หลาย ๆ อย่างก็น่าจะดี แต่นักเรียนก็คือนักเรียนอ่ะนะ แต่เขายืดหยุ่นกว่าเรามาก
