Gfail: เมื่อ Gmail ล่ม

ผู้ใช้ Gmail ทั่วโลกหลายรายเข้าไปแสดงความเห็นใน Twitter เกี่ยวกับการที่บริการของ Gmail ไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ โดยเมื่อเปิดเข้าไปแล้วจะเจอหน้าจอ 502 Error หรือบางรายสามารถเปิดได้แต่ว่าเปิดได้ช้า โดยผู้ใช้ส่วนมากเรียกสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นนี้ว่า Gfail

ทางผู้เกี่ยวข้องของกูเกิลได้ออกมาประกาศว่ากำลังดำเนินการแก้ไข Gmail อยู่ซึ่งจะใช้เวลาตรวจสอบ และจะแจ้งให้ทราบภายใน 6.30 น. ตามเวลาแปซิฟิก (ประมาณ 21.30 น. ตามเวลาประเทศไทย) โดยยังไม่ทราบถึงสาเหตุของความผิดปกติครั้งนี้ แต่ผู้ใช้หลายรายคาดว่าอาจจะเกิดจากความผิดพลาดของบุคลากรแบบเดียวกับที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อ Google ประกาศว่าทุกเว็บเป็นอันตราย (ข่าวเก่า)

Update2: กูเกิลออกมายอมรับ และบอกว่าตอนนี้ใช้ได้แล้ว โดยอาจต้องใส่ CAPTCHA เพิ่มเติมก่อนเข้าใช้บริการ แต่ยังสอบสวนถึงสาเหตุอยู่ครับ
Update3: Google ออกมาเปิดเผยถึงสาเหตุ ว่าเกิดจากข้อผิดพลาดในโค้ดที่พยายามให้ข้อมูลของผู้ใช้นั้นอยู่ในเครื่อง server ที่ใกล้กับผู้ใช้มากที่สุด โดยได้แก้ไขบั๊กนี้แล้วครับ

เคยอ่านเจอ เค้าบอกว่า google ใช้เครื่องประกอบเองนิ อิอิ ส่วนของ gmail ไม่รู้จะใช้เครื่องประกอบด้วยหรือปล่าว

ผมว่าช่วงนี้มันเป๋ๆ ยังไงไม่รู้เข้าได้บ้าง ช้าบ้างยังไงไม่ทราบ
แต่ว่าเจอกับตัวด้วย Timeout ไปเลย

ยังยอมรับได้ แต่ที่น่าเศร้าและอยากให้รีบแก้ไขคือ มัน preview all กับ Download all ไม่ได้

พอดีใช้ IMAP ไม่ได้เข้าไปที่เว็ป ก็เลยไม่รู้ว่าผิดปกติอะเปล่า
